Gotta Hurry!

Another Monday is coming to an end. I have to type fast tonight, because Mom just took some cold medicine and she's looking kind of droopy. Bless her heart. She sounds like that Darth Vader guy with the funny outfit and the shiny hat and she looks super tired. I might have to make my own bottles tonight!!

It was COLD this morning! Check out my cool cupcake hoodie, dude.

I can't believe how quickly the weekend passed. Can you?

As is the routine on Monday, I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's while Mom went to big work. I hung out at Grandmom's after school. Grandmom and Granddad brought me home and stayed for supper. I had a bath and a snack.

I'm going to put Mom to bed now. Do you think I could get some help?!?

I hope everyone had a good day and I really hope Mom feels better tomorrow!!

Weekend Update

Hi, faithful readers!!! Sorry for the late update! Saturday was a super busy day and my Mom was sick sick sick yesterday and she forgot to leave the computer on for me!!

Saturday started out like a good day. I was playing with Mom and having a good time. I got all dressed up and ready for the game!

My Mom went to the Gamecocks' house to watch them play their game this time, so I went to stay with Grandmom and Granddad. That was fun. :) I was all pumped up about the game. I was cheering and everything. GO COCKS!!!

The game was not so good. The Gamecocks looked sorta confused. I was getting upset with them. I couldn't believe they were losing to a bunch of pigs!!!

Did you hear me?!? I said GOOOOOOO!!!!

They did not go. They lost. Big time. I was very disappointed. When Mom got home, she said she was very disappointed too. She couldn't believe she left me to sit in the cold and watch such a terrible game! We were bummed out.

I got to play with my Granddad, though.

Sunday was a rough day. Mom was not feeling well. And the time changed. Something about "falling back" an hour. I didn't understand all I knew about that. Weird. We took a lot of naps Sunday morning.
Sunday afternoon, we went to Lisa's for a party. I got to play with Aunt Lisa and Aunt Trina. And I met some new people too. I was an extra good girl at the party.

We were tired when we came home. I slept and Mom rested. Mrs. Chalica came over for a little while to see us. After she left, we went to bed.
Mom is still not feeling well. I feel ok, but Mom has big work and little work today, so I know she is going to be super tired. I will try to be on my best behavior for her. :)

I had a pretty good day. I stayed with Grandmom until Mom came. Then we came home. Now it's the weekend!!!!!!! Yay!

Have you seen my pibey? Anywhere?

Oh, there it is!! Don't worry, I found it!!

I wonder what Mom and I will do this weekend....

Almost Friday!

I had a good day today. I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's and then met Mom at Aunt Mere's. We had dinner there (Mom said something about yummy soup) and then we came home. I had a bath and Mrs. Chalica came to visit.

Hey, guess what?!?

Tomorrow is Friday! YAY! Friday means the weekend starts in the afternoon and the weekend means fun times with Mom! This makes me very happy!!

Now get outta my way, Friday! I mean it. Hurry up!!

Peekaboo!!

It's cold out! And it was drizzly rainy today. Check out my warm fuzzy outfit!

It has a hood. I'm not so sure about this hood thing...

It was a long boring day. Mom had big work and little work, so I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's and Grandmom's. Instead of talking about my day, let's play peekaboo, ok?
Ready??

PEEKABOO!!

Hahaha! Funny game!
Mrs. Chalica brought the pictures from my photo shoot by the house today. This one is Mom's favorite. :)

Civic Duty

It is Election Day. Mom did not have any kind of work today. Yay! But she said we had one job to do. She said we had to go vote. She said that every American, once they are old enough, has the right and the responsibility to vote when there is an election. She said it's very important. She said if you don't go out and vote, you can't complain about the government.

So this morning, we went to vote. It was very cold outside. I had to wear a jacket. I'd never worn a jacket before. It was weird. Mom said somebody turned on the world's air conditioner. I think she's confused. I think it's getting colder because the Earth is tilting away from the sun on its axis. It's a good thing Mom teaches music.

Anyway, we went in the cold to vote. I had to hold this little card.

I gave it to the nice lady and Mom pushed some buttons on a screen. Then a nice man gave me a sticker.

That was it? That was voting?!? All the stuff on tv and all the talk about voting and that's all there was to it? Wow.
The excitement wore me out.

After we voted, we went on an adventure with Aunt Mere, Colin, and Brenna. We went to the big mall called Concord Mills. We did lots of shopping and had a good time.
After we finished shopping, we came home to watch the election results. I'm worried about it.

I'm afraid the bad guys are going to get elected and make things really bad for my state. Mom is really worried about it too. She says she did everything she could. She said that unfortunately, everybody that votes doesn't vote intelligently.
Mom tells me now that the kool-aid drinkers have won and that the people of our state have voted against truth, common sense, experience, and public education. Mom is very concerned and very sad for our state. I don't like the look on her face. She looks kinda like this...
So far, I'm not sure I like this civic duty thing....

Can't Trust That Day

Monday. Mom had big work and little work. That meant Mrs. Leigh Ann's for me. I stayed at Aunt Mere's after school. Grandmom had to get new hair. Or something like that. Mom came to get me after little work and we came home.

Mom dressed me like a Care Bear today. She said the name of the bear on my shirt is Cheer Bear. I gave her my cheeriest smile. :)

Still cheery with a hands pose. :)

I was playing with my new Baby Einstein toy this morning. I super love it. It is so interesting. :)

Tomorrow is a different kind of day. Mom doesn't have to go to big work or little work or any work. She is going to stay at home with me. She says that it's called "Election Day". I asked her about that. She told me that tomorrow, grown-ups have to go choose the people that they want to be in charge of things. She said tomorrow is important because the people that live in South Carolina are going to be picking who they want to be in charge of our whole state. Mom is kinda worried about it. I'm worried about it too....

But at least we'll get to spend the day together!! I love that!!! Mom does too!! :)
