My Mouth

Hooray for Friday! I love it when Friday comes!

I had a good day today! Grandmom took me to Mrs. Leigh Ann's. I played all day! Mrs. Leigh Ann even let me go in the swing! Woo hoo!! Mom came to get me this afternoon. She brought me home and I took a nap. After my nap, we went to Aunt Mere's house. The people with teeth ate dinner and then I ate my dinner. I got to sit in Brenna's big girl chair. :)

It was nice of B to let me use it!

Speaking of people with teeth, Mom says that now I am a person with teeth. Well, a person with tooth. Mom says that one teeth is called a "tooth". Mom says that it is barely there, just poking through my gums. She says she can feel it, but I won't let her see it.

It's my tooth. In my private personal mouth. It's very confusing for me to have it there all of a sudden. I'll show her when I'm ready. Then I'm sure I'll show you too. :)

Play Time

Thursday morning. Ready to go. Do you like my model pose??

I really liked my shirt today. Mom had it made just for me.

In case you didn't know, A is for Anna!! :)

I had a good day today. Grandmom took me to Mrs. Leigh Ann's. Mom picked me up today! I was glad to see her!

When we got home, I played with my new ball cup stacky thingys that Aunt Mere gave me for Valentine's Day. They were very interesting!! First, they were all stacked up...

Then, they became different sorts of balls.

I caught the green one.

After a nap, I played in the floor some more. I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to be able to move more than rolling over and over. I just haven't figured it out quite yet. I'm not giving up, though.

I played with the stacky thing some more. The littlest ball has a face. I had to make sure Mom knew about it.

After a little more play time, it was time for a bath and dinner. I'm headed off to bed now. I'm so excited that tomorrow is the day called Friday!

The Hump

Hump Day is here. Well, at this point it's almost over. Only one more day until Friday!!

I was really tired this morning. I didn't really wake up when Mom put my clothes on. I didn't open my eyes until she stood me up to brush my hair.

I tried to call in "sick", but nobody answered. I'm beginning to question the authenticity of this phone....

I had a pretty good day though. I spent the day at Mrs. Leigh Ann's and then at Grandmom and Granddad's until Mom got out of little work. She came to get me and we came home. I played in my downstairs bed for a little while so Mom could do stuff. I took a bath and had my dinner. It was a pretty regular Wednesday.

The weekend is getting closer!

Be happy!! :)

Doggies

Tuesday. Not the best day, but it was okay.

I got up and got ready for my day. I spent some time with my new Sing-a-ma-jig before school.

And tried to swallow my top lip.

My tummy hasn't been feeling quite right today. It's hurting me a little. That has made my day a little grumpy. I tried not to let it bother me too much at Grandmom and Granddad's this afternoon. It was Mom's long day at big work, so I had to wait a long time for her. She finally came to get me and then we came home.

When we got home, after my bath, I got to watch some of something called the "dog show". Mom said she loves the dog show. I don't know why she was so excited. The dogs weren't singing or dancing or anything. They were just walking around on a big green carpet. She let me watch for a minute because Sadie's "group" was on. Apparently, the dogs are divided into different groups and they walk around the green carpet and then one of the dogs wins the "group". In Sadie's group, there was a dog called a Boykin Spaniel. Mom said that it was the first time the Boykin Spaniel was in the dog show. She said that Boykin Spaniels are the state dog of South Carolina. I thought it was cute. I also learned that there are three kinds of Cocker Spaniels. Sadie is a Cocker Spaniel. There are black ones, ones called parti-colored that are two different colors (but they're like black and white or tan and white, not like pink and green or anything), and there are some called ASCOB. That's what Sadie is. She's ASCOB. It means "any solid color other than black". I asked Sadie if she knew she was ASCOB. She just looked at me. Oh well. I felt smart.

The black Cocker Spaniel won the "group". I liked that. It was a pretty dog. :)

At the end of the dog show, all of the group winners go on the green carpet to see who is the "Best in Show". The black Cocker did not win that. Some ginormous unattractive dog called a Scottish Deerhound did. I didn't like that.

Now you know all about the dog show. Mom says it won't be on again until next year. Maybe next year, little Cocker Spaniels....

Seven Months On The Day Called Valentine's Day

Today was the day called Valentine's Day. I had a special outfit to wear. :)

And, believe it or not, today was also my seventh monthiversary! That's right! I'm seven months old today! Wow!

I had a good morning. I got ready for my day. I talked to my friend Violet. I wished her a happy day. :)

I talked to my new friend Bo, too. He makes me laugh. :)

I had a good day at Mrs. Leigh Ann's. We celebrated the day called Valentine's with a little party. We exchanged the valentines we had made for each other. At the end of the day, Aunt Mere brought me to Grandmom and Granddad's house. Mom had little work, so I had to wait for her. I played a lot while I waited!

I got lots of presents for the day called Valentine's. Grandmom and Granddad gave me a red bear and a little puppy like Violet. She is a sleepy puppy and she plays different songs. I liked her a lot! Aunt Mere gave me some ball stacky thingamadoodles. They look like fun to play with! When we got home, Mom gave me some presents too. She said that I am her very best Valentine. I guess I must be, because she gave me my very own Sing-a-ma-jig!!! I was so excited!! I guess she was tired of me stealing hers.

She also gave me my very own cell phone!! I made a few important calls...

After I got my presents, I took a bath and had my Valentine's dinner. It was no different that any other dinner, but it was good!

I hope everyone had a great day called Valentine's Day!

Concert

It was Sunday. Well, it still is for just a little bit. It flew by in a big hurry. Mom and I got up and did some stuff. After that, we went to Grandmom and Granddad's. I had a snack and took a nap while the people with teeth ate lunch. When I woke up, Mom and Aunt Mere had gone on some kind of mission about the day called Valentine's Day. When they came back, they helped me make my Valentine cards to give to my friends tomorrow. When the valentines were finished, I got in the van with Grandmom, Aunt Mere, and Mom and we were off on an adventure.

Well, it wasn't very adventurous, actually. We went to Lancaster to Grandmother and Granddaddy Auten's church. Katie and some other big group of singing people were there from her big school and they were going to do a concert. That's why we were there. To hear Katie sing. I saw Katie and some of the singers before they started. The boys were dressed like penguins and the girls had on long black dresses.

The singer people came out, but before they got to sing, these people with instruments started playing. Mom said they were called a "brass quintet". They scared me. A lot. Those things called trumpets are terrifying! I was glad when they stopped. The singing was lovely. In the middle, this very enthusiastic fellow came out and played the piano with great gusto. That was interesting. Those brass people played some more too. Again...scary!

When it was all over, Katie came to see me. :)

We went to Grandmother and Granddaddy's house so I could eat my dinner. Granddaddy gave me a baker bear. He has a hat and an apron and he's so soft! I really love him. I call him Bo. After my dinner, we had to come back home. After the long car ride, I've got my pajamas on, I've had my snacks, and I'm ready for bed. Tomorrow is the day called Valentine's Day. Whatever that means....

The Ladies Who Lunch

Ah, Saturday! How I love Saturdays! Mom and I slept late this morning. (I thought that would be nice since she is sick.) After a morning snack and some play time, we got ready and went out.

I was wearing my new cupcake shirt. See it?

We picked up Mrs. Chalica and Emma who were in town for the day and met Mrs. Kim and Annabelle at a place called El Cancun. What a funny name!! Apparently it is another place for eating Mexican food. The people with teeth had lunch and I had a bottle. Mom ate chicken soup since she is not feeling her best. We had a good time having lunch with all the girls. Mrs. Chalica brought me a present that was filled with cute clothes! Thank you, Mrs. Chalica!!

After lunch, we came back home. I read a book about the day called Valentine's Day. It had Mouse in it. I love Mouse.

In the story, Mouse made Valentine cards for all of his friends. I think I'm supposed to do that, too....I'd better get busy with that!! But not until tomorrow...

After lunch and my story, I was very tired! I took a very long nap. Four and a half hours. Mom took a nap too. She said she felt a little better after that. When I woke up, I had a snack and played. Then I had dinner and now it's time for bed. This day went by so fast! I hope tomorrow isn't in such a hurry!!
