Long Time, No Post...

I'm a busy girl. I don't always have time to post anymore. Here's what's up...

My Granddad was in the hospital on the day after Valentine's Day. Mom stayed home with me that day and we played. I got to color with my toy I got for Valentine's Day.

Granddad came home the next day. He's all better now.

Sometimes, I like to throw all of my toys out of my toy bin and get in there myself...

Last Monday was a holiday called President's Day. Mom and I went with Grandmom to a fabric store and to Target. Then we had lunch at Steak and Shake. Yum. When we got home, Mom put batteries in my elephant ball popper. That was SO exciting!

It was a pretty boring week. I tried to liven things up on Saturday morning with a little clown nose action.

Mom and I went to Periwinkle for lunch and then we went to Hobby Lobby.

Today, I had fancy hair. Piggy tails! We went to Grandmom and Granddad's for lunch. When we came home, I took a nap. Mom made this dress for me while I was asleep. I like it!

Time to start another week!

Catching Up To Valentine's Day!

My weekdays aren't terribly entertaining. I pretty much do the same thing every day. I get up, have breakfast, go to Mrs. Leigh Ann's, go to Grandmom and Granddad's and wait for Mom. But at least I'm cute while I'm eating breakfast!

And sometimes serious...

This weekend was good. Friday night I got to go to Outback with Granny Kat and her gang and Aunt Mere and her gang. It was GOOD! Saturday, Mom didn't have any cakes, so we got to do whatever we wanted. We played a lot. We went to Periwinkle for lunch. My lunch was great. Mrs. Patti gave me a cupcake to eat and a sucker to take home. When we came back, Mrs. Chalica, Jackson, and Emma came over to play. We had lots of fun. Later, I had my dinner and Mom let me have my sucker. :)

Sunday, Mom made pink heart pancakes for me. They were yummy. We did our regular Sunday stuff. It was a good day.

Monday was just another day until Grandmom and Granddad brought me home. Mom let me do a project! She put paint on my finger and helped me make hearts for my Valentines!

When we were finished, Mom let me play with the paintbrush. I had so much fun!

Today was Valentine's Day. Mom gave me a baby Cinderella doll. :)

She made this cute shirt for me to wear. :)

We had a party at Mrs. Leigh Ann's. She gave me a puppy. :)

Mom sent cupcakes. YUM!

At Grandmom and Granddad's, they gave me a cool coloring toy and Aunt Mere gave me superheroes! Wonder Woman and BatGirl! I was so excited!

After dinner, Mom and I came home and I took a bath. Mom found this amusing:

I shared some Valentine's love with Sadie while we watched the dog show.

I'm definitely ready for bed now!!

Under the Big Top!!

I've been a really bad blogger. I just haven't had much to say. I pretty much do the same things every day. But today was different! Today was Circus Day!!

Mom and I got up early this morning and got ready. Uncle Corey, Aunt Mere, Colin, and Brenna came to get us and we were off! I got to ride on the light rail train all the way into Charlotte. We got off the train and went to the building where the circus was going to be. I was very excited! We stopped at the circus trailers for a picture!

We waited in line for a little while and then we went inside. The first part was the pre-show. We went down on the circus floor and walked around. I saw a lady spinning in the sky.

Mom and I got aggravated with the pre-show because we are short. Mom kept calling the other people "giant redwoods". There were some seriously tall people at the circus today and we couldn't see over or around any of them. We gave up and went to our seats. From our seats, I got to watch Asia the elephant paint her pretty picture. We also played with our clown noses. It was hilarious!

My Mom looked so silly with a clown nose.

I wouldn't leave my nose on for a picture.

I was pretty excited with the circus finally started. I really liked the elephant that came out at the very beginning!

I got a little scared at first with the flashing lights and the really loud noises, but then I got used to it and loved watching all of the different things. I clapped and clapped after every act!

I saw clowns, big and little horses, acrobats, high-wire artists, and some really strong men. In the middle of the circus, they took a little break. We played with our noses some more. :)

I was pretty excited for the circus to start again.

When it started, there were big tigers in the center ring. There were white ones that were pretty and orange ones that were yucky. But a tiger is a tiger and Annas do not like tigers. See??

Those tigers had me so upset that I just couldn't handle it anymore. I had to take a nap.

Mom says I missed some pretty good stuff, including the elephants. I had been really excited about seeing them.

I slept through the end of the circus and until Mom carried me outside. I woke up when we went outside in the rain. I felt much better.

We went to Moe's for lunch. I had a quesadilla and strawberry Sprite from the fancy Coke machine. It was SO good! Then we went back and got on the train. Our circus adventure was over.

In the car on the way back, Mom showed me my new elephant. Grandmom and Granddad gave me some money to get something at the circus, but since I was asleep, Mom chose for me. I was okay with that. :)

When we got home, I took a really good nap. Then I woke up, had dinner, played, and watched Enchanted.

I had a wonderful day!! :)

To the Mines...

Saturday was a pretty boring day. Mom and I made a cake delivery and hung out at our house. I watched Enchanted. I really like that movie.

Sunday was also a boring day. Mom and I stayed home ALL day! I watched Enchanted again and played with my InnoTab.

I attacked Mom on the floor.

And I fell over and laughed and laughed.

Today, we had to go back to the real world. Yucky old Mondays. I played with my InnoTab before I left.

And had a very serious breakfast.

I had a decent day. My favorite part was when Mom came home without going to little work! Yay! We came home and had dinner and played. I took a bath and played some more. We read stories and watched Dora. After Dora, it's time for bed!!

Time To Play Catch Up

I've been a major slacker. I'm going to catch you up on the most important stuff that has happened since I wrote my last post.

On January 14, we celebrated Granddaddy's 90th birthday. We had a big party at his church. My favorite part was playing basketball with Uncle Brent. :)

On January 15th, we went back to Lancaster to go to church with Granddaddy on his birthday. Then we went to lunch. I wasn't feeling very well.

January 16th was the day called Martin Luther King Day. Apparently he had a dream. I had a cold. Mom didn't have to go to either work because of the holiday, so we stayed home and she took care of me.

I stayed with Grandmom and Granddad every other day that week. I was just too sick to go to Mrs. Leigh Ann's. I got to ride to Mom's school one day and take one of our couches out of our house to her. She needed it for something. I got to meet some of her students. They liked me. :)

I survived the week and on Saturday, we had a birthday party for Colin and Brenna! I had a lot of fun. Bobby took me in the bouncy house/slide thing.

I got tired of playing and sat down with Katie to play with her iPhone. I need one of those things! She let me watch Dora!!

I was feeling well enough by Sunday to work on my circus skills. :)

Unfortunately, Mom got my cold. She pushed through it and carried on.

On Tuesday, I got to go back to Mom's school. Grandmom, Granddad, Aunt Mere, Colin, Brenna, Granny Kat, Uncle Hoppy, Bobby, and I all went to watch Mom's students do their play. The play was called Annie Junior. I was excited!

The boys and girls were singing and dancing and talking. It was very enjoyable!

Wednesday and Thursday were pretty normal days.

Today, Mom didn't go to big work. She stayed home with me. She said that her body was just too tired to go to work. She has worked very hard over the past few weeks. I was glad she stayed home. I like spending the day with Mom! I also like wearing her shoes!!

So that's what's been happening in Anna's world! Hopefully all the sicknesses are gone and I will be back to writing as usual!

A Message from Anna

Anna's Mom here. Anna wanted me to let everyone know that she is ok and that she hasn't run away. She has been a pretty sick little girl. She has a terrible cough and a runny nose and just feels awful. She is not eating much, but she is drinking lots and lots. She has been a very good girl throughout this sickness. For the most part, she has kept her sunny little personality. She wanted me to let you to know that she hasn't forgotten you and she hopes to be blogging again soon.

Rough Couple of Days

I've been a little out of sorts for a few days. My tummy has been hurting a little and I'm just having a little trouble getting back in the swing of things. But Mom got me some Froot Loops. I was pretty excited about that after I had shared some of Brenna's. :)

Check out my new trick: "Cheese!!"

Wednesday morning brought an especially intense episode of Little Einsteins...

Today was a little better. Mom did my hair differently.

Grandmom and Granddad brought me home because Mom was baking cakes. I read Granddad a story. (He forgot his glasses.)

After some playing and a bath, I'm ready for bed!
