Independence

July  4th.  Independence Day.  Mom and I started the celebration on the 3rd.  We went downtown with Aunt Mere, Colin, and Brenna to watch the fireworks.  We stopped in to Periwinkle for some treats first!  I liked the fireworks.  They were pretty!

Mom and I had a low key day on the 4th.  We did a little shopping with Grandmom.  The rest of the day, we just stayed home.  I played with a balloon that Mom let me have.

Mom made my cute shirt for me. :)

Go America!

My Gamecocks

My Gamecocks made it all the way to Omaha again this year! They beat everybody they needed to beat to get there, including those Tigers.  I was so excited to see them play!

They did very well in Omaha and made it all the way to the Championship Series!  I was so hopeful that they would win!!!

Unfortunately, Arizona was able to defeat my boys twice to take the title this year.  But that was ok.  My Gamecocks had a great season!  They are a great team and they will be great again next year!  I hope Mom will take me to a baseball game or two!  :)

*On a sad note, Reptar of Fear the Fish fame passed away after the season ended.
**And Coach Tanner is now in charge of all the athletics at the University, so Coach Holbrook is in charge of the baseball team now.  They're in good hands.  :)

Park Day!

We went to the park one day after we got back from the beach.  Colin was at camp that week, so only Aunt Mere and Brenna joined us.

I love the swings.

I had a snack with my BFF.

I love climbing on the slide, too.

I was sad when we had to leave that day, but we went to Grumpy Brothers for lunch and it was pretty good!

Father's Day

The day after we came back from the beach was Father's Day.  Mom and I had to deliver Waylon's birthday cake first, but then we went to Grandmom and Granddad's for fun times with the family!

We celebrated with Granddad and Granddaddy!

Toes in the Water

On June 9th, we packed up our stuff and headed for the coast!  Our first stop was McLeod Farms, where I really enjoyed the tractors.

After a very long ride, some car trouble, and some more riding, we finally arrived at the beach house!  I stayed with Uncle Corey while Mom and Aunt Mere went to get groceries.  They brought back dinner, too. It had been a long day of traveling, so we rested.

Sunday morning, we were ready to hit the beach!  I thought I would drive...

I was so excited to play in the big water.

We played in the water and sand for a long time!!

We went inside for lunch, and then I slept until dinner time.  We went to Bubba's Fish Shack.  I had fried pickles!

After dinner, we got some hot Krispy Kremes!  YUM!

On Monday morning, we were ready to go again!  Mom did my hair in a fancy way to keep it out of my face.

The beach of so fun!

I loved playing in the waves!

And playing with Brenna, Kaelin, and Macie!

Mom always made sure I stopped for a snack.

After lunch, it got nasty and rainy, so we stayed in and had pizza for dinner.

On Tuesday, it was very nasty and rainy all day.  We didn't get to go to the beach.  We went to Broadway at the Beach instead.  We went to an upside down building called WonderWorks.  There wasn't a lot for me to do, but the bigger kids liked it.  I liked the wind from the hurricane shack.

And I loved dancing on this big piano!

My favorite part was the bubbles!

After we got completely SOAKED in the downpour, we went to lunch.  After lunch (and a wardrobe change out of my soggy clothes!), we went to Build A Bear.  I was so excited to stuff my new friend!

I put his heart in, gave him a bath, got him a Gamecock shirt, and named him Pankake, just like Jey Pankake!

When we got back to the beach house, Grandmom and Granddad were there!  Wahoo!!!  We stayed in for dinner since the weather was so weird.

Wednesday morning, the weather was better and we hit the beach once more!

The sand is almost as fun as the water.  Almost.

Mom got a frozen lemonade for me for my snack.  It was pretty good!

After lunch, I took a long nap until it was time to go to dinner.  We went to California Dreaming.  Then we went to Painter's for ice cream!!

It was so yummy!

Thursday brought another fun morning on the beach.  I loved it when Mom played with me in the ocean!

On Thursday afternoon after some fun on the beach, Grandmom and Granddad left.  I took a nap and when I woke up, Granny Kat and Bobby were there!  No way!  We got ready and headed over to Broadway at the Beach again.  We walked around for a while.  Uncle Corey let me ride on his shoulders.

When it was time for dinner, Uncle Hoppy showed up!  How did all of these people know where to find me this week?!?  We had dinner at a very interesting place.  Mom said it was a Japanese restaurant.  This funny man set our table on fire and cooked our food on it!  Whoa.

Friday, I played on the beach with Bobby!

After lunch, I took another one of those long naps!  We went to dinner at Damon's.

After dinner, we went to Captain Hook's for some golf.

It's hard to play from a stroller...

We had a great time with everyone on Friday night.

On Saturday morning, Mom said vacation was over and we had to head home.  We packed up and said goodbye to the beach house.

On the way back, we stopped at McLeod Farms again for lunch.

In honor of the Gamecocks, I showed everyone how to do the Fear the Fish salute.  I was ready to watch some baseball when I got home!

We had a great vacation with our family!!

Sweet Summertime!

Summertime is finally here!

Last week, Mom didn't have to go to big work because it was Memorial Day.  It was like a sneak preview into summer.  :)

The rest of last week, I had to follow my regular schedule.  Early mornings!

Friday was Mom's last day!!  Friday night, my Gamecocks played Manhattan in their regional tournament.  They won.  Yay!

On Saturday, Mom and I hung out at the house all day.  My Gamecocks played again at 4:00, but this time they played those Tigers from Clemson.  It was a very intense game, but after extra innings, my Gamecocks were victorious.  Granny Kat sent me a picture of Cocky from the game!  :)

Come to find out, my Gamecocks had to play those Tigers again on Sunday.  Are you kidding me?

I was very nervous watching the game on Sunday, but at the end of the day, the Gamecocks were winners again!!  They get to play in the Super Regionals this weekend!   Go Gamecocks!

Mom and I had a pretty low-key week.  On Monday, we had lunch with Granny Kat.  Tuesday and Wednesday, we played at the house.  I got to play with my new Play Doh!

On Thursday, I went to Lancaster to have lunch with Grandmother and Granddaddy.  That was fun.  Then we went shopping with Aunt Mere, Colin and Brenna.

Today was mostly calm.  After a very unfortunate diaper (or lack thereof) incident this morning, I just played while Mom did stuff.  We ran a couple of errands this afternoon.  Nothing too exciting.

Mom says that tomorrow, we are going to the beach.  I checked my archives and discovered that that is the place with the big water and the sandy sand.  Cool.  I'm sure I'll have lots of new adventures to tell you about!!

Party at Monkey Joe's

Today, I went to Monkey Joe's for Annabelle's 3rd birthday party.  When Mom said that's where we were going, I wasn't sure, but I got over it when I got there!

Monkey Joe's is a wonderland of bouncy fun!

It only took me a minute to figure out what to do!

I loved sliding!

I got to ride on the little merry-go-round, too!

We had cake and juice and Annabelle opened her presents.  Then we bounced some more.  I even went in the big bouncy place by myself.

After Monkey Joe's, we went to a Chinese buffet for lunch.  When we came home, I took a long nap!!  This fun weekend has really worn me out!
