Stormy Sunday

It was stormy last night. The storms scared me and I went into Mom's room to be with her at around midnight. Unfortunately for Mom, I didn't go to sleep. At 4:00, Mom told me she wasn't going to play with me anymore and she took me in my room and left me! Alone! And awake! I was mad for a minute, but then I just went to sleep.

This morning, I had breakfast, played, and watched the Backyardigans. Then I took a bath and got dressed for the day.

Mom and I stopped by WalMart on our way to Grandmom and Granddad's so Mom could get some yarn or something. At Grandmom and Granddad's, I had my lunch. Then I helped Mom with hers. I had some mashed potatoes, peas, and apples. Grandmom gave me a cookie. Then I helped Mom with her key lime pie. I just don't want Mom to get too full.

After lunch, I took a short nap. When I woke up, I played for a while and then Mom and I came home. I was pretty tired, so I took another nap. I had ravioli and apples and cherries for dinner. After dinner, I watched some tv with Walker.

It's stormy outside again tonight. I'm going to try to get some sleep.

Calm

We had a pretty chill day today compared to yesterday. When I got up, I had breakfast and then I watched Yo Gabba Gabba and Miss Spider while Mom made a cake. I played for a little bit and then I took a nap.

Right after I woke up, Aunt Trina came by to get her cake. I played with her for a few minutes. Then I got dressed, had lunch, and Mom and I went to WalMart. We did our shopping and then Mom went to McDonalds to get her lunch. When we came home, she shared some of her french fries with me. Then I got very excited because Mom had a Smurfette in her lunch! She said I could have it. Yay! I played for a while.

Then I took another nap. When I woke up, I had a snack and played until dinner time. For dinner, I had cheese ravioli and squeezy applesauce! Yum!!

For dessert, I had one of my few remaining birthday koulourakia cookies. They're so good!!

I've been playing since dinner and I'm getting pretty tired. I think I'll hit the hay.

History

I was so tired after my adventure yesterday that I forgot to blog! Oops!!

We had a great day yesterday! Grandmom, Aunt Mere, Colin, and Brenna picked us up and we were off on an adventure! Our first stop was McDonald's for breakfast. Despite the fact that I had already eaten, I thought I needed to help Mom with her pancakes. They were good!

After breakfast, we were off to Columbia! When the car stopped, we were near EdVenture, but Mom said we weren't going there. We went to another museum instead. It was called the "State Museum". The first thing I saw when I got inside was about my Gamecocks!! This place was okay by me!!

We went up in an elevator to the top of the museum. That part was all about the history of South Carolina. I learned all about how South Carolina was important in the Revolutionary War and all about how our flag got to be so pretty. :)

I learned about how Sergeant Jasper saved the flag after it fell at Fort Moultrie. I'm glad he did. I like our flag. I even dressed like it for our trip!

I learned more stuff about South Carolina in the Civil War (that didn't work out so well for SC) and afterward. Then we went down the elevator to the next floor.

That floor was about science and technology and inventions and things. I got to sit on a train called the Best Friend of Charleston. Mom told me that it wasn't the real one. The Best Friend was the first train in South Carolina, but it exploded! Yikes! This one is just pretend.

I liked playing with the science-y experiment things. I loved the multi-colored shadows.

I pushed buttons and played with a ball in the air and went in this little room that was full of mirrors and lots and lots of Annas!!

On the next floor, I learned about what South Carolina was like a long, long time ago. There were giant animals and the land was different. I also learned about the kinds of animals you can see in different parts of South Carolina now.

We finally made it back to the bottom of the museum and went into the museum store. I completely passed out while we were shopping.

When I woke up, we were at Rush's! I had my lunch and then I helped Mom with her chili cheeseburger and fries. Then we shared a hot fudge cake. :)

After lunch, we went to the Gamecock store (!!!) and did a little shopping. I'm pretty excited about my new t-shirt and dress! After shopping, we came home. I took a pretty good nap. Then I played and had dinner and went to bed.

It was a great day!!

Dinner

After breakfast this morning, I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's. I played with my friends all day. :)

On the way home, I stopped to see Grandmom and Granddad. Then I came home. I took a nap when I got here.

After my nap, I played for a little bit and then Mom said it was time for dinner. I had a very different dinner tonight. At first, I didn't know what to think.

I had little pasta wheels, chicken, carrots, and peas. It was all still shaped like it was supposed to be. None of it looked like it had been smushed. I liked it. :)

After I ate my dinner, Mom gave me one of my birthday cookies from Aunt Deborah. I love those fancy Greek cookies!

I ate the whole cookie. They're so good. Aunt Deborah is going to have to teach Mom to make them or she's going to have to be my supplier. :)

Mom says we're going on an adventure tomorrow!!

Swimming!!

My morning was kind of boring. I had breakfast, played, and got dressed. Then I took a nap. When I woke up, I had lunch. I played for a while and then Aunt Krystle came by to see me! After she left, Mom and I put on our bathing suits and left!!

We went to Gramme and Grandpa John's house to swim! Aunt Mere, Colin, and Brenna were there! And Kaelin, Macie, and their mom, Laura! Everybody was having such a good time! I got my sunscreen on and hopped right in!

I love the big pool! I played and played. I played in my float and out of my float.

Mom helped me jump in the water. That was hilarious.

I had a snack at the pool, too. I learned how to use a straw today. Mom always puts her straw in my mouth and tells me that if I can get anything out of it that I can drink it. Well, I showed her today! Haha, Mom!

When we left the pool, we came home and I took a very long nap. After my nap, I took a bath and had dinner. Swimming really wore me out!!

Fun With Friends!

Mom and I had another fun summertime adventure today! After breakfast, a bath, and a nap, Mom and I went to meet Auntie Trina, Mrs. Sharesa, Kennedi, and Karrington at the Children's Museum! I was excited to go there again! I started out by reading a book.

I played with Kennedi and Karrington and had a great time!

We had so much fun playing together. Mrs. Hart from Mom's big work can to the museum while we were playing. When we were finished playing, we went across the street to Periwinkle for lunch!! They were super busy today, but we got a table and sat down. I had my lunch and then Mom had hers. I helped her with her lunch too. Then we got a pie!! YUM! It was a chocolate cream pie and it was SO good! Mrs. Patti was very busy, but I got to play with her for a minute before we left.

I was SO tired when we came home, so I took a long nap. When I woke up, I had a snack and played. I even climbed in with my toys to play with them. Mom said I was silly.

I've had dinner now and I'm ready for bed. It was a fun day, but it really made me tired!!

She's Back!

Today was fun! After our regular morning routine, Mom and I got ready to go for lunch. I got to wear my new dress that Mom gave me for my birthday. :)

We went to the Cracker Barrel. Granny Kat, Bobby, Grandmother, and Granddaddy were already there. I sat in the rocking chairs with Grandmother while we waited for the rest of the gang. :)

We went inside to get a table. I had to stop and look at all of the Gamecock stuff in the store! It was exciting! Then we went to our table and I had my lunch. Grandmom, Aunt Mere, Colin, and Brenna came. And Katie! Back from camp!! Woot!! I shared some of Mom's chicken and dumplings, okra, and apples and some of Grandmom's biscuit. Man, that stuff was good!!

After lunch, Katie and Bobby came with us to Target on a failed attempt to get some more sandals for me. (Mom muttered something about it being ridiculous that you can't find sandals in July.) Then I fell asleep in the car. When I woke up, I was in my stroller...

at Marble Slab!! But all of the ice cream was already gone! Boy, was I mad!! After that, we went to TJ Maxx and Ross, still looking for (and not finding) sandals. Hrm. Katie and Bobby left us then and we came home.

I was in a very bad mood this afternoon, probably because nobody saved me any ice cream. Mom's friend Kathryn came to pick up a cake and I talked to her for a little bit. When she left, I took a good nap. When I woke up, I played and had a snack. Sadie stole some of my snack and I hit her and yelled at her. Mom said we needed to be nice to each other. I'll be nice, but she can't have my food!!

I played for a little while and then had some dinner. I'm ready for bed now, so I'll catch up with everyone tomorrow.

Big Seat!

Well, today was more interesting. After my breakfast and my bath this morning, I got dressed so I could go to Grandmom and Granddad's.

I got to ride in my big girl car seat!! Mom put it in the car yesterday. Now I get to see where we're going when we're riding, not where we've been! And the air conditioner blows in my face, which is very nice since it is so very hot outside! I like my new seat!!

I had lunch and Grandmom and Granddad's. I got to talk to Pete, Helena, Uncle Brent, and Aunt Deborah on the iPad. I could see them and hear them, which was pretty neat! After that, I took a nap. When I woke up, I played with Brenna for a little while and then Mom and I came home.

When we came home, I played and watched tv. I had dinner and now I'm ready for bed.

Mom says we're going out to lunch tomorrow because Katie is coming home from camp. Hooray!!

She has been gone for a long time and I will be so happy to see her!!!

Seven

Dear Mom,

Today was BORING!

Seriously, folks, we didn't do anything today. After breakfast, I took a bath and got dressed. While I was getting dressed, Mom noticed that I have another tooth. I knew that already. That makes seven. I played for a little while and watched The Backyardigans.

I took a nap. I had lunch when I woke up. I played for a while and read a book or two.

I took another nap. I had a snack and took care of my baby.

Mom said she didn't think I was very good at taking care of my baby. I told her that my baby was having fun. I played for a while longer, had dinner, and put on my pajamas. Time for bed now!

Hey, Friday!

Instead of staying home with Mom today, I ditched her to go play with my friends. I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's! I had a great day playing there!

Mom picked me up and took me to see Grandmom and Granddad. I played for a little while and then we came home. I took a nap. Then I played until dinner and bedtime. It's that time now. Not much to report today, but it was a good day!

Lunch Date and Library!

I slept a lot last night. I didn't get up until 9:00! Then I took a nap at 10! After that, Mom and I got dressed and went to Michael's.

Then we met Aunt Trina for lunch. Mrs. Sharesa and her babies came too! Their names are Kennedi (on the left) and Karrington (beside me). They are babies that are called "twins". They are sisters that are the exact same age! They have the same birthday!! They were together on the inside. I bet they were cramped!! They will be one in the month called August. I had fun playing with them.

After lunch, I took a nap and when I woke up, we were at the library!! We saw a fun puppet show today. I was a little bit afraid of the lion puppet when it roared. Overall, though, it was a great show! I'm a little sad because today was the last show at the library for the summer. Boo.

After the library, we went to WalMart and then we came home. I took a little nap and then I played.

Mom gave me a new snack called "Cheerios". Some of them had pink stuff on them and tasted like strawberries. I liked those the best. (Mom said that this kind of Cheerios is the only kind she will eat.) I played for a little while longer and then I had my dinner. It's time for bed now. Goodnight!

Bonus Post: Walking!

L.A.Z.Y.

Well, I was lazy today. I got tired earlier this morning, so I took my nap early. When I woke up, I watched a movie called "Finding Nemo". It was about a little fish that got taken away and his dad and his dad's funny friend were looking for him. They found him.

After Nemo, I had lunch and watched a movie called "The Little Mermaid". That girl wanted legs. She didn't have any. I liked the little singing lobster fellow.

I took another nap after that. When I woke up, Mom and I went to WalMart and Hobby Lobby. Mom let me eat some squeezy applesauce in the car all by myself while we were driving to Hobby Lobby! She said I did great. I didn't spill any!

When we came home, I had a snack while Mom made a bow for me. It looks like Cocky!!

I watched some of my shows. I'm always excited when it is time for the "we did it" dance on Dora!

I made some calls.

Mom said she thinks I'm a little confused about how to use the phone...

Anyway, I had some dinner and now I'm heading to bed. Perhaps I won't be so lazy tomorrow...

Playing with Grandmom and Granddad

I'm sorry for the delay in blogging! I got home very late last night and was already asleep.

Yesterday was a pretty good day. Mom and I hung out at the house most of the day. We went on one errand around lunch time. I played and took a couple of naps.

I stalked Sadie. I wanted to pet her. This is how you do it. First you have to sneak up on her.

Then, lean in when she's not looking.

Slowly reach out and pat her head.

Laugh when she jumps up and runs away.

Heehee. We do that every day! Sadie is a good dog!

Later in the afternoon, Mom took me to Grandmom and Granddad's house. She left me there! (Mom went to a place called "Carowinds" with Uncle Corey, Aunt Mere, Colin, and Brenna. She said that I'm not big enough to go there yet and I would not have had any fun.) I got to play with Grandmom and Granddad all afternoon and evening! I had my dinner there and put my pajamas on there and fell asleep there! At some late time, Mom came to get me and she brought me home. I went to bed.

I wonder if we'll do anything fun today...

Pooh!

Today was fun!! After breakfast, I played for a little while. Then I took a bath and a nap. When I woke up, I got in the car with Mom, Aunt Mere, Colin, and Brenna! We went to Groucho's for lunch. Granny Kat and Bobby were there!! I had my lunch and then shared some of Mom's turkey and pickle. :)

After lunch, we went somewhere new. We stopped and talked to a lady in a glass room. Then we went in a room with big chairs and a HUGE tv!! It was the biggest tv I've ever seen!! (Mom is telling me that it wasn't a tv, that it was a screen, but it looked like a tv to me.) We sat in a big seat and i watched the big tv. There were some things that Mom called "previews", including one for a new movie with Kermit the Frog. Then there was a little cartoon about a big creature called "Nessie". Then Mom said the part that we came for was about to happen. I sat very still and watched. Then there it was. Pooh!! I LOVE Pooh!! Mom said it was a new movie about Pooh and his friends! I sat on Mom's lap and watched the whole movie! It was great! Pooh was hungry and then they thought Christopher Robin had been kidnapped and then Pooh rescued Eeyore's tail! It was SO great!!

After the movie, we went across the street and had ice cream!! It was so yummy!!

I ate some of Mom's, some of Granny Kat's, some of Bobby's, and some of Brenna's!! I LOVE ice cream!!

I was sad when it was all gone. After the ice cream, we went to Target and then we came home. I was tired, so I took a good nap. When I woke up, I played until time for dinner. Now I'm ready for bed. I hope Mom will take me to another movie. She said she was proud of what a good girl I was in the theater. :)

The Day After...

After my super fun day yesterday, I was pretty tired today!! I woke up and had breakfast. I played for a while. Mom let me play with my new baby. She needs a name, but I haven't thought of a good one yet. Mom told me not to bite her.

She said it's not nice to bite your baby. I took a nap and then we went to Grandmom and Granddad's house.

Everybody had lunch and I played for a little while. Then Mom and I came home. We were supposed to go to Emma's birthday party, but I fell asleep on the way home and slept until 6:00!! I was SO tired from my party yesterday!

When I woke up, I played, had a snack, and watched my favorite shows. Then it was time for dinner.

It's been a great weekend!!
