To the Mines...

Saturday was a pretty boring day. Mom and I made a cake delivery and hung out at our house. I watched Enchanted. I really like that movie.

Sunday was also a boring day. Mom and I stayed home ALL day! I watched Enchanted again and played with my InnoTab.

I attacked Mom on the floor.

And I fell over and laughed and laughed.

Today, we had to go back to the real world. Yucky old Mondays. I played with my InnoTab before I left.

And had a very serious breakfast.

I had a decent day. My favorite part was when Mom came home without going to little work! Yay! We came home and had dinner and played. I took a bath and played some more. We read stories and watched Dora. After Dora, it's time for bed!!

Time To Play Catch Up

I've been a major slacker. I'm going to catch you up on the most important stuff that has happened since I wrote my last post.

On January 14, we celebrated Granddaddy's 90th birthday. We had a big party at his church. My favorite part was playing basketball with Uncle Brent. :)

On January 15th, we went back to Lancaster to go to church with Granddaddy on his birthday. Then we went to lunch. I wasn't feeling very well.

January 16th was the day called Martin Luther King Day. Apparently he had a dream. I had a cold. Mom didn't have to go to either work because of the holiday, so we stayed home and she took care of me.

I stayed with Grandmom and Granddad every other day that week. I was just too sick to go to Mrs. Leigh Ann's. I got to ride to Mom's school one day and take one of our couches out of our house to her. She needed it for something. I got to meet some of her students. They liked me. :)

I survived the week and on Saturday, we had a birthday party for Colin and Brenna! I had a lot of fun. Bobby took me in the bouncy house/slide thing.

I got tired of playing and sat down with Katie to play with her iPhone. I need one of those things! She let me watch Dora!!

I was feeling well enough by Sunday to work on my circus skills. :)

Unfortunately, Mom got my cold. She pushed through it and carried on.

On Tuesday, I got to go back to Mom's school. Grandmom, Granddad, Aunt Mere, Colin, Brenna, Granny Kat, Uncle Hoppy, Bobby, and I all went to watch Mom's students do their play. The play was called Annie Junior. I was excited!

The boys and girls were singing and dancing and talking. It was very enjoyable!

Wednesday and Thursday were pretty normal days.

Today, Mom didn't go to big work. She stayed home with me. She said that her body was just too tired to go to work. She has worked very hard over the past few weeks. I was glad she stayed home. I like spending the day with Mom! I also like wearing her shoes!!

So that's what's been happening in Anna's world! Hopefully all the sicknesses are gone and I will be back to writing as usual!

A Message from Anna

Anna's Mom here. Anna wanted me to let everyone know that she is ok and that she hasn't run away. She has been a pretty sick little girl. She has a terrible cough and a runny nose and just feels awful. She is not eating much, but she is drinking lots and lots. She has been a very good girl throughout this sickness. For the most part, she has kept her sunny little personality. She wanted me to let you to know that she hasn't forgotten you and she hopes to be blogging again soon.

Rough Couple of Days

I've been a little out of sorts for a few days. My tummy has been hurting a little and I'm just having a little trouble getting back in the swing of things. But Mom got me some Froot Loops. I was pretty excited about that after I had shared some of Brenna's. :)

Check out my new trick: "Cheese!!"

Wednesday morning brought an especially intense episode of Little Einsteins...

Today was a little better. Mom did my hair differently.

Grandmom and Granddad brought me home because Mom was baking cakes. I read Granddad a story. (He forgot his glasses.)

After some playing and a bath, I'm ready for bed!

All The Marbles

It was a rainy day. EW.

I had a pretty good day. Little work hasn't started yet, so Mom came to get me. She brought me home and I played with Sadie. Sadie lets me touch her sometimes now. She was nice to me when I got home and she even let me hug her. I hugged her three times!! I played for a while and Mom made me a grilled cheese for dinner. She had a grilled cheese too, and some tomato soup. I didn't want any soup. She let me try some on my sandwich, but I thought it was weird.

After dinner, I took a bath and put my pjs on. I'm wearing my elephant pajamas tonight because of the big football game tonight. It's the last one of the year. The LSU Tigers (patooie) and the Alabama Crimson Tide (whatever that is).

This game was for all the marbles. The National Championship. The winners of the college football season. Mom tells me that Alabama just won. Good deal. Night night!!

Getting Back...

It's been rough getting back into the swing of things! Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday were just normal days. Nothing too exciting until Friday afternoon. Then Grandmom took me to a place called a car wash. That thing was funny!

After the car wash, Grandmom brought me home. Mom and I played for the rest of the night.

Saturday, Mom worked on cake while I played. Later in the afternoon, Uncle Corey, Aunt Mere, Colin, and Brenna came over. We went to Groucho's for dinner. Yum! Then Aunt Mere helped Mom take the shiny things off the Christmas tree.

Today, Mom and I had to take a birthday cake to Chester. We played this afternoon. I wore Mom's shoes.

Monday is upon us once again. Back to work, back to reality for me! At least I can go with style...

BRRRRRRRR!!!

Whoa. Back to life today was rough! All of a sudden, it's winter. It was COLD this morning! It's been so nice outside. I've barely even needed a jacket! Today, I needed a mega coat!

I had a pretty good day, I guess. Mom picked me up at Aunt Mere's. We had dinner there to celebrate Colin's 10th birthday! Happy Birthday, Colin!

Over

Well, it's a new year. 2011 is over. 2012 has begun. On New Year's Eve, Mom and I had dinner with Granny Kat, Uncle Hoppy, and Bobby. Then we went to Aunt Mere's house to play some games. Then we came home to ring in the new year. Or to go to sleep in my case. :)

New Year's Day was a typical Sunday. We went to Grandmom and Granddad's for lunch and then we came home. That was all the excitement.

Today was a good day. We were still on vacation, so we slept in. After breakfast, I took a bath and got dressed. I got to wear my Gamecock dress because Mom said it was Game Day! What?!? YES!! I took a nap after my bath so I would be well rested.

When I woke up, it was game time! My Gamecocks were playing in that special extra bowl game. Woo hoo!! Mom and I ate pizza and watched the beginning of the game. After lunch, I settled in and got serious.

It was a pretty good game. My new friend, Connor Shaw, had a great game. Alshon Jeffery made an amazing play at the end of the first half. Unfortunately, a bad guy from the other side started hitting Alshon in the 3rd quarter and when Alshon tried to shove him away, he got sent out of the game. :( I wouldn't stand around and let somebody hit me either, Alshon! My Gamecocks got MAD after that and made those Cornhuskers (what a goofy mascot!) look silly. Today, my Gamecocks won their 11th game of the season. They've never won that many games in a season before. Ever. It's a pretty big deal around here!

After the game, I was pretty exhausted.

Mom says that football season is over now. She says that our Gamecocks won't play again until the last Thursday in August! WHOA! On the bright side, we have baseball season just around the corner. :) We know those baseball boys are for real!

My vacation is also over. No more fun times for us. Mom has to go back to big work in the morning and I'll have to go back to Mrs. Leigh Ann's. We had such good days together! Mom says that now we'll count down to Spring Break.
