I'm A Slacker

To my devoted readers, I apologize. I have absolutely nothing to say about yesterday. It was totally boring. I didn't even have my picture made. Mom says I was a very good girl all day and all night though.

Since I have nothing for you, please enjoy these pictures from last week's Saturday adventure to Kohl's and Babies R Us. My first big adventure.

I must go now. I am incredibly busy getting ready for a very big day. Uncle Brent, Aunt Deborah, Pete and Helena are coming to see me today!!!

BIG Adventure!!

Thursday was a big day! First, Mom got me all clean and dressed for our adventure. She took my picture with my new elephant. So what if it's bigger than I am??

Grandmom, Aunt Meredith, Colin, Brenna, Mom, and I went to this place called IKEA today. I had never heard of it before, but the grown ups were pretty excited. I was underwhelmed. I went to sleep. When we got there, I got in my stroller and continued my nap. Everyone else went in this big blue building and looked at furniture and other home furnishings. They looked at stuff for HOURS! I slept. And slept. And slept. Eventually Brenna slept too. I guess she had seen enough.

They shopped and shopped and shopped. I finally got irritated and demanded my snacks. Seriously. I had waited long enough. Mom found a couch (conveniently located in the furniture store...) and fed me. I was STARVING!

Mom said she was proud of what a good girl I was on the adventure. And she was pretty excited about some of the stuff she bought!

When we got home, O'Neill came to see me. I was glad to meet him. He is funny. :)

It was a long day and I was very tired. I slept really well for Mom. I think she got a little bit of sleep too. (I try to be a good girl.)

Wednesday. My three week birthday. Apparently that meant sleepy day. I was SO lazy! I barely woke up to eat. Mom didn't get me to wake up enough to take a bath until after 2:00. She didn't bother putting me in a new outfit...

I chilled out with Sadie for a while.

Mom flashy-thinged me in the face. She's always pointing that camera thing at me.

I continued my laziness until about 12:30. Then I thought it was play time. Mom did not. She thought it was sleepy time. Silly Mom.

Chillin'

I enjoyed spending the night with Grandmom! I think Mom enjoyed her sleep too! She got up and got herself showered and then got me clean and dressed before Grandmom had to leave. Look, a monkey!

Mom and I spent the day together. It was pretty boring. We didn't do much. I slept and Mom said she did some chores while I was napping.

My birthday present from Mom came in the mail today. She really wanted me to have it. She said I "needed" it. But she had to wait until she knew when my birthday was before she could order it. She said if she had known I was going to be so punctual, she would have ordered it ahead of time.

I had some visitors in the evening. Mom's friend and former co-worker Mike came over with his wife Kelly and their girls, Abigail, KK, and Tia. They had dinner with Mom and played with me. Mike wouldn't hold me though, so he didn't have his picture made.

Grandmom came over for just a little while in the evening so Mom could get a little bit of rest if she wanted to. Then she went home and Mom and I spent another night on our own. Mom said I wasn't too bad. But she also said she could have done without having to change her clothes (and mine) in the middle of the night. I said I was sorry. :)

Ah, Monday...

Mom and I braved another night alone together. This time, I thought I'd see what she'd do if I chose not to sleep in my bed. She told me I could sleep on her lap, but only because I had a tummy ache. She told me not to get used to it because she likes to sleep.

I got my bath in the morning. And I got dressed. Mom said my eyes looked so blue with this outfit on. I think that's how I'll get to wear blue more often. She thinks it makes me look beautiful. :) Aunt Mere will be happy.

Grandmom came at lunch time. After lunch, Mom's friend Jennifer came with her cute little boy. His name is Peyton. I hope we will be friends. :)

After our visit, I took a nap. Mom thought I looked so cute sleeping in my bed. :)

Aunt Meredith, Colin, and Brenna came to visit later in the afternoon. Brenna played peekaboo with me and held me for the first time. She loves me. :) I love her too!

I had a good time playing with everyone.

Grandmom came and spent the night with us. We watched the end of The Bachelorette. She picked Roberto. I hope they will be very happy, but Mom says she bets they'll break up. Whatever. Not my problem!

Later, peeps...I've got stuff to do!

Since I was so good for Mom on our first night alone together, I decided not to be so charming in the morning. (Don't want her to drop her guard, you know.) I didn't do anything bad, I just didn't want to be asleep or anywhere other than Mom's lap. She said that made it hard for her to take a shower, do dishes, and vacuum the floor. Whatever. Not my problem!

She finally managed to get me dressed (in this snappy little cupcake sunsuit) and she put some clothes on herself.

She was just in time because Uncle Corey, Aunt Meredith, Colin, and Brenna came right after she got dressed! Brenna wanted to participate in my daily photo shoot. I love her! :)

After lunch, I had some special visitors! Memommer and Mr. Jimmy came to see me! It was so nice to meet them. I had heard about them before. They even brought me some cute little Gamecock shoes!

Mr. Jimmy said I was too little to hold.

I took a little nap with Mom after they left. Then I had more visitors. Granny Kat, Uncle Hoppy, Katie, and Katie's new friend Justin came to see me. Mom said they woke up at the beach. I don't know what the beach is, but Mom sounded a little jealous. I think she loves the beach. Granny Kat took this picture of me, Mom, and Aunt Mere. (They didn't mean to be dressed alike.)

Later on, Grandmom and Granddad came back from their weekend vacation in Tennessee! I was glad to see them! They brought me a new baby doll and a bag of new clothes! It was another great day here at home with family and friends!

An Adventure!!

After Aunt Mere and Brenna spent the night, we went on an adventure! Everybody got dressed and ready and we went for a ride in Aunt Mere's car. First, we went to a place called Kohl's. Mom bought me a few new outfits since I'm still so little. I didn't like Kohl's too much. I thought needed to be held instead of riding in my super nice stroller.
Then we went to Babies R Us. Mom bought me some more stuff. Nothing too exciting though.
Our last stop was a place called Chick-Fil-A. Mom said I'll love it when I have teeth. This time I thought it was pretty boring.

After we got home, Aunt Nelle and Aunt Nancy came to see us. We had a good visit. Uncle Corey and Colin came over later to hang out.

Mom and I stayed by ourselves last night. Mom thought she was ready. We had a great night. :)
