Friday Freedom

Hallelujah, Friday!!!! :)

It's been a long one, but I'm so glad to have a weekend home with Mom! I had a good day at Mrs. Leigh Ann's. Mom picked me up this afternoon.

We went on an adventure with Aunt Mere, Colin, and Brenna after we got home. First, we stopped at the Target store. After Target, we went to Buy Buy Baby. I got a very cool, very big new toy. I'll share it with you tomorrow. After Buy Buy Baby, it was off to a place called Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Lots of Bs. Mom and I went into the place called Michael's for just a minute. Then we went to Kohl's. Mom got me a book about my caterpillar, Hungry!! After the shopping, the people who eat solid food ate at Chick-Fil-A. I had a bottle. Sigh. The waffle fry things looked good. We had a good time and I'm excited to play with my big new toy!!

Since we came home, I've had my dinner and gotten ready for bed. That's where I'm headed now! Off to dreamland!!!

And Then There Were Two...

I had another good day! I was so tired last night after the WeeSale. I had a really hard time waking up this morning! When I was finally ready, Grandmom came to take me to Mrs. Leigh Ann's.

I had a good day there. Then I went to Grandmom's and was very surprised to find Mom waiting for me!!

I had a snack and a quick nap. Then I woke up to play with Mom.

I am now a person with teeth. Another little tooth has burst through my bottom gums right next to the other one! It is a very peculiar time for my mouth. It is very confusing to me, having these pointy things suddenly showing up in my mouth.

We came home after Mom ate some dinner. She had to bake some cakes, so I talked to Bo. He's a baker too. :)

While the cakes were baking, Mom cleaned my new table toy from the WeeSale. She took the leg thingys off of it so I could reach it. It is a very interesting toy!!

I lost focus on the toy for a few minutes because Wheel Of Fortune was on. I love that big wheel.

Then it was back to playing. :)

When the cakes were all finished, I took a bath, had dinner, and got ready for bed. That's where I'm headed now. I'm off to dream of all the things I can snack on now that I am a person with teeth!!

New Stuff!

What a day, what a day!

It started out pretty normally. I got up, got ready, went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's.

Aunt Mere brought me home this afternoon, but I didn't get out of the car! Instead, Mom got in! She said we were going to the "WeeSale". I vaguely remembered something about that before. We went for a little ride and then we got out of the car. When we got out, I got into my stroller and we just stood there behind a bunch of other people. I had a bottle while we were standing there. Weird. All of a sudden, the people started moving and we went inside this big place with lots of stuff everywhere. It was overwhelming!

We stayed in there for a long time. Mom kept showing me things and asking me if I liked them. I was very happy the whole time. I got lots of new things. A new toy table, some drums, some new movies, and lots of clothes for the seasons called spring and summer! I also got a Gamecock dress to wear when I am 2 years old. Mom said I already have one to wear when I am 1 year old. :)

I liked the WeeSale. I like my new stuff!! :) After the WeeSale, we came home. I had some dinner and got ready for bed. I think I'm going to get some sleep now. Goodnight!!

Mom?

(Sorry for my tardiness. I started this post and fell asleep in the middle....)

Wow! What a long day! I had a great day. I'm not sure that Mom did, though. She seemed a little frazzled. Poor Mom.

I spent the day at Mrs. Leigh Ann's. She dropped Brenna and me off with Granddad a little early. She had to go to something called the WeeSale. I played with Granddad and Brenna until Grandmom came home. Then we went to Aunt Mere's house.

Mom was gone for a very long time. I knew it was Tuesday, so she had her long day at big work, but she was gone much longer than that. I borrowed Brenna's high chair and played with this fun toy.

Mom finally came to get me. She seemed very upset about some boxes or something. Anyway, that's where she had been. Trying to track down some boxes. I was glad to see her. She ate some dinner and then brought me home.

I had a bath and some dinner and fell asleep. It was a very long day.

KABOOM!

Oh, Monday!! Why do you have to find me so fast??

I will have to concentrate to get through the day. Time for the "Granddaddy tongue".

I had a good day today. I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's and then Grandmom and Granddad brought me home. Mom was still at little work, but they brought be home because there was a bad storm a-comin'. (I heard that when Mom was watching the Golden Girls yesterday. Apparently, you only add the "a" when it is a bad storm.) The storm has been bad. The thunder is very loud and the lightning is very flashy. The storm reminds me of my fun new song. It goes like this...

Anyway, while I waited for Mom I played with this big toy.

Mom had a hard time getting home. The power was out on the big road that brings her home and the stop and go lights were all dark. Mom said it was a scary trip, but she made it! AND she brought me a new toy!! These cool Baby Einstein balls! Woo hoo!!! :)

Grandmom and Granddad stayed for dinner. I had my dinner after the people with more than one tooth. I've got my jammies on now and I think I'll get some rest.

Sunday Party

Oh boy! Silly Sunday!! :)

It was very warm outside today. Mom let me wear short sleeves and no jacket! Mom said it was close to 80 degrees outside! Apparently that is very warm for the month called February. I liked it because I got to wear this cute outfit. :)

I also wore my shoes today. I like shoes. :) After I got my shoes on, Mom and I went to Grandmom and Granddad's. The people with more than one tooth ate lunch and I played. I had some more "juice" and then I had a bottle. After the bottle, I took a quick nap.

After my nap, Mom and I went to my friend Salleigh's birthday party. The kids who can stand were jumping in a jumpy house. I really wanted to play with them, but I'm too little. Maybe next year! After everybody played, we sang a birthday song for Salleigh. She blew out some candles on her birthday cake. Her birthday cake was my present to her. Mom helped me make it...

After the people with more than one tooth ate party food, Salleigh opened her presents. She got lots of cool stuff! I gave Salleigh some birthday love before we left. :)

I was so tired after the party! I went to sleep in the car. When we got home, I opened my eyes just long enough to drink my bottle. After that, I slept for a long time.

After my long nap, I played in the floor. I played the piano and I played with this spinny thing that makes animal noises.

I also tried to figure out how to catch Sadie, but I couldn't get going. One day....

Unfortunately, the day called Sunday is coming to an end. That means another long week before I can have a fun weekend. Mom says there are only 13 more Mondays of big work before the summer.

New Friend

This was a busy day. I slept very well last night except for the coughing. I tried not to let that wake me up, though.

This morning, Mom was very busy with cakes. I played with my toys so she could work. When she got the first cake finished, we had to take it for a ride. I went in my pajamas. After we gave the nice people their cake, we went to WalMart. Boo.

When we got home, Mom went back to work on more cakes. I took a little nap and then I played with my toys some more.

I had a new experience today. It was called "juice". Mom said that because I'm kind of sick, she thought I should have some of this "juice". She said that more "fluids" would help me feel better. I thought she was giving me a bottle, but I was in for a big surprise! Mom said the "juice" was apple juice. I thought that apples went into "sauce". I guess apples are good for lots of things. The "juice" was very yummy. I enjoyed it a great deal. :)

Later in the afternoon, I took a bath and got dressed. Grandmom and Granddad came and Mom and I got into their van. We went to a really big church close to my house. There were LOTS of people there. Here's why:

Back when the month was October, a little baby was born. Her name is Nora Grace. Her mom and my mom have been friends forever. Little Nora Grace had a little bit of trouble reading her calendar and she came to the outside before she was supposed to. Her trip to the outside was not scheduled until December. (I can see how she got confused. It can get pretty dark in there.) Nora Grace was really little when she made it to the outside. She had to stay in the hospital for a long time. She didn't get to come home fast like I did. She stayed and stayed and had lots of days when she didn't feel good. Finally, she got to come home on the day called Thanksgiving. Since then, she's been growing and getting stronger. Mom says she even weighs more than me! Tonight, lots of people came to that big church to help Mr. Jason (who is sometimes called Sammy), Mrs. Jessica, Nora Grace, and her big brother, Landon. All the people came to show them that we love them and that they are special. At the church, the people with more than one tooth ate food. We ate (well, they did) with Mrs. Carol. She is a very good friend of Grandmom's. I played with her. :)

After dinner, we went to another part of the church. We were in there for a long time. There were lots of people singing songs and playing instruments and talking. They did that for a long time. A really long time. I liked some of it a lot. Other times, I was hungry or sleepy and did not enjoy it quite as much. Finally, it was over and it was time to go home.

I'm very tired after this long day, so I am going to bed.

I think Nora Grace and I could be very good friends. Like our moms. :)
