Back Where I Belong

Well, I woke up this morning at Grandmom and Granddad's. Still no Mom...

Have you seen her??

Oh, Grandmom said that Mom would come get me after big work today. All I had to do was go to Mrs. Leigh Ann's and be a good girl all day and Mom would show up. No problem!

I had a good day! No troubles at all. And the best part was that at the end of the day, Mom came to get me! Hooray!!!

Check me out. Mrs. Leigh Ann put something called a "ponytail" in my hair. :)

Mom and I went by Grandmom and Granddad's to pick up my stuff from my slumber party and my laundry (because our washing machine is still sick). I played for a while, had a snack and a nap, and then we came home.

I was really glad to see Sadie and she was glad to see me. I played in my big toy. I missed it! I also got to watch my Gamecocks play baseball on tv!! That was very exciting!

I'm glad to be back home. I had a great time at Grandmom and Granddad's, but I'm excited to sleep in my own bed tonight. As a matter of fact, I think I'll head there now. Goodnight!!

Um...Mom? Mom??

Have you seen my Mom? She gave me a super big hug this morning before she went to work and she told me she really loved me and I haven't seen her since...

I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's. I left Mrs. Leigh Ann's. I'm still at Grandmom's. No Mom.

Actually, I know where Mom is. She told me all about it. She had a ticket to go to a place called the theater with Katie. She went to see a Broadway musical. It wasn't the one about the miserable people. She said it is called Avenue Q. She said there are puppets in it. I really like puppets, but Mom said that I can't see Avenue Q until I'm much, much older. Since Mom was going to be in the city called Charlotte until late at night, I'm spending the night with Grandmom and Granddad. Grandmom will be taking me to Mrs. Leigh Ann's in the morning and I can see Mom again after big work tomorrow. I'm enjoying the extra time with Grandmom and Granddad, but I'm not sure how I feel about not seeing Mom...

I'll be glad when tomorrow afternoon gets here!!

What's up, Tuesday?

There was a big storm in the middle of the night. Mom and I didn't wake up, but apparently it was a big deal. Grandmom and Granddad haven't had power all day. Mom says that power is what makes the lights and the tv come on.

I had a pretty good day. I stayed with Mrs. Leigh Ann and then I was with Grandmom. Mom picked me up at Aunt Mere's since Grandmom and Granddad didn't have any power at their house. After Mom ate dinner, we came home.

I was exhausted after my long day, so I took a little nap...

After dinner, I read the Green Eggs and Ham book by Dr. Seuss. I love that story. It is so funny!

Sadie came over to see what I was reading. I think she likes that story too. I got to pet her!!!

Sadie is such a good friend. :) I love her.

I don't know if Grandmom and Granddad ever got their power back. I guess I'll find out in the morning!

Monday again??? I am SO not in the mood for this...

Oh well. It was off to Mrs. Leigh Ann's early this morning. After spending the day there, Grandmom and Granddad brought me to Aunt Mere's house. We waited there for Mom to get out of little work. I was glad when she came back. :)

After the big people ate dinner, we came home. I'm posting this picture of how cute I am because Mom says I haven't been very cute tonight. Since my bath and dinner, I've been crying a lot. Mom is basically begging me to go to sleep, so I'm going to try. I want to be a good girl.

Sunny Sunday

I didn't sleep quite right last night. I woke up several times. Weird.

When I got up, I played for a while. Then I needed a nap. After my nap, Mom and I went to Grandmom and Granddad's. Aunt Mere and the rest weren't there. They didn't come today. I ate lunch and then the solid food eaters ate lunch.

After lunch, it was time to watch the Gamecocks play!! Yay! Go Gamecocks! (They were playing baseball. They won, too!!)

I love hanging out at Grandmom and Granddad's on Sunday afternoon!!

Suddenly, this elephant that dwells there attacked me out of nowhere. It was hilarious! :)

I think it was attracted to the elephant on my shirt. :)

I took a long nap this afternoon. I played for a little while after my nap. Mom and I made a quick trip to Target and then we came home. That pollen stuff is on the move again and my nose is runny. I'm not feeling the love for the pollen...

Saturday!

Yay for Saturday!! I love Saturday! Fun times with Mom all day long!

Mom didn't have cakes, so we got to do stuff all day. This morning, we went to Periwinkle Cafe and Bakery. It's Mrs. Patti's new store. She's opening for real on Monday, but we got to go early. It was nice there! I liked it a lot and I got to play with Mrs. Patti.

After that, we ran a few errands and then we came home. It was lunch time. I had a new food. Well, I had the same old squash, but I also had peas. I liked those too. :)

After lunch, I took a short nap. Then I woke up to play. After my next snack, I took a very long nap.

After I woke up, Mr. Glenn came over to see me. Actually, he came over so Mom could draw on his arm. She is telling me that it wasn't really his arm. It was something called a "cast". She says that's what they put on people who break themselves. So Mr. Glenn is broken and he wanted something drawn on his "cast". Since Mom is good at drawing, he came to see us. And since I'm funny, he played with me. :)

I had a great day with Mom. I wonder what we will do tomorrow....

PS: Tonight I ate oatmeal for the first time! I liked it!!

The Boo Boo

Hooray for Friday!! I was excited to get my day started so I could get to my weekend!!

I was sitting in my car seat watching the big girls ride tricycles. I got excited and sat up to see them better. That's when it happened. I flipped out of my seat. My mouth was bleeding and now I have a boo boo on my lip. Mom came to get me after big work. She was sad that I had a boo boo. I tried to smile anyway.

When Mom picked me up, I fell asleep right away and took a long nap. After that, Mom and I went to the Olive Garden for dinner. Aunt Mere, Colin, Brenna, Granny Kat, Uncle Hoppy, Katie, and Bobby were there too! We had a good time!! It was the first time we had seen Katie since she came back from South Africa. She brought me this elephant. Isn't it cool??

Mom said that it is not for eating...

I love my African elephant!! Thank you, Katie!! :)

I'm ready for my weekend! Mom and I don't have any cakes to make, so I'm sure we'll have lots of fun together!!!
