And Then There Were Five!!!

Oh, how I love Saturday! (Mom says it wont be long before every day feels like Saturday for a while.) I slept in for a while this morning. When I woke up, I had breakfast and then I played while Mom worked on her cakes. I heard her hollerin' (or yelling) from the kitchen and then muttering something about "dumb ol' WalMart." The next thing I knew, I was being scooped up in my pajamas and hauled off to WalMart. (Mom had forgotten that when she got all of her cake supplies for the weekend that WalMart was out of shortening.)

After our trip, I had a snack and took a nap while Mom finished up her cakes. When I woke up, it was time for lunch! I had a great lunch today. I had apples and chicken, something new called "macaroni and cheese", and peach cobbler. It was so yummy!!!

After lunch, I took a bath and played for a while. While I was playing with Mom, she noticed something about my mouth. Two new teeth have broken through my little gums! That brings my people with teeth total up to FIVE!!

We played until I got hungry again. After a snack, I took a nap. When I woke up from my nap, Mom said it was time to watch something called the "Kentucky Derby". I had no idea what that meant. Apparently, it meant that there were going to be some horses running around. Mom said that you should wear a hat to the Derby.

I tried, but my hat is too big. :)

So I tried my Sandlapper hat instead.

I was pulling for the lady named Anna Rose, but she didn't win. A horse called Animal Kingdom won. I liked watching the horses.

After the race, Mom and I went to Target. We saw Mrs. Leigh Ann and Mr. David there! I was very excited!!

When we came home, I watched the Fresh Beats. I love that show. :)

I got into a little bit of trouble tonight. While Mom was getting my dinner ready, I sort of ate Sadie's food. And took a bath in her water bowl. Mom was not too happy. She fished the food out of my mouth and dried me off. I don't think I had better do that again...

After this busy day of sprouting teeth, running with horses, and eating like a dog, I'm very tired. I think I'll get some sleep!!

We finally made it to Friday! Hooray!! (It was chilly this morning, so a jacket was in order.)

I had a good day today. We did a special craft today for our moms. Since it is almost the day called Mother's Day, we made special presents. I was supposed to put my handprint on this flower pot.

The paint felt funny on my hand and I had trouble getting it just right. I got paint all over me!! I had to change clothes. :) Here's the finished print. Mom said it was just perfect. :)

Mom picked me up today. We went to Grandmom and Granddad's for a few minutes and then we came home. I was super tired, so I took a nap. When I woke up, Mom did this to my hair.

She said I looked cute. :)

With my new hairdo, I played and enjoyed my evening. Tomorrow is Saturday (yay!)!! MOm says she has to make two cakes, but then we can play together!! :)

Look! I match!!

Heehee. Mom didn't mess me up this morning! (Even though I woke her up at 3:30 this morning and she didn't get to sleep anymore.) It was cold this morning. Not cool. Not chilly. COLD. Silly weather. I wore my fuzzy pink suit. And I got to play with Linny before I left!!

(Mom says to tell you to look at my teeth. She says you can really see my top tooth in this picture. She also says I look like a hillbilly with only one tooth on top. I don't think that's very nice...)

Mom picked me up from Mrs. Leigh Ann's today. We had to rush home to give somebody a cake. Right after that, we left again. We went to a place called Charanda. Auntie Trina, Lisa, Ms. Kim, Ms. Jo, Ms. Kelly (and some other girl whose name I do not know) were there. Mom said we were there to celebrate "Cinco de Mayo". That took a bit of explaining. Apparently, "Cinco de Mayo" means "Fifth of May", which is, in fact, today's date. Mom said that it is also known as Mexican Independence Day. Mom said that since we're not Mexican, it doesn't really mean much to us, but it's a good excuse to eat tacos. I have no idea what a taco is...

Anyway, check me out sitting in the high chair at the restaurant like a big girl!!! :) I sat there the whole time. (And it was a really long time because the lady that was asking the big people questions and bringing them things was not very adept at her job...)

Everybody said I was such a good girl. :) I try really hard. Auntie Trina said I had to put this picture here for Granny Kat. So, here you go, Granny Kat!

I am super, super tired. Mom says she is too...

My Blind Mom and My New Friend

Look at what my Mom did to me today. Oh my goodness. Here I am, trying desperately to look cute in my BLUE butterfly outfit, and what does Mom do?!? She puts BLACK pants on me!! BLACK ones!!! Great balls of fire, Mom. What in the world?!? Do you know when she realized her mistake?? Tonight at about 7:00. I have looked like this ALL day. SO embarrassing.

Despite my wardrobe malfunction, I had a pretty good day. I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's and then to Grandmom's while Mom went to big and little work. Today was the last day of little work!! Yay!!!

After Mom went to little work, she went to the hospital because my new friend is finally on the outside! Bradyn Christopher Mizwa was born this morning at 8:03. He weighed 9 pounds and 3 ounces!! He was WAY bigger than I was when I first came to the outside. Mom says he is very handsome and we will be great friends. She said Aunt Krystle is feeling very tired and sore, but she looked pretty good. Mom said that I will have to wait until they are not in the hospital anymore to go meet Bradyn. I can't wait to meet him! I've been looking forward to it for a long time!! (Almost my whole life!!)

Anyway, Mom came to get me. She brought me home, took me out of my mismatched clothes, gave me a bath, and fed me some dinner. After all of that, I'm very tired and ready for bed. (My pajamas are only one piece, so Mom couldn't screw those up.) Night night!!!

I Called In

I called in sick today. No work for me. Since I called in sick, Mom had to do the same. We stayed home together. :)

My fever was down this morning. I have a bit of a runny nose, but that just means I get to use the nose thing that sings and sucks the stuff out of my nose. That thing makes me laugh. :)

Mom and I had a pretty chilled out day. I played, ate, and slept. Oh! My Wonder Pets DVDs came in the mail today! With my very own Linny, Tuck, and Ming Ming, too!! Mom and I had to go to the store to get cake stuff. Mom has a very busy cake weekend coming up!

After the store, I played, ate, and napped some more. I really wanted out of my box when I woke up from my last nap!

Mom says that since my fever is gone, we have to go back to work tomorrow. But she also says that tomorrow is the last day of little work!!! Yay!!! :)

You Give Me Fever

Whoa. I was WAY sleepy this morning when Mom got me up. I was in no mood for a Monday!!!

Especially not this Monday. This Monday gave me a fever. Mom didn't know about it until after lunch. It was kinda too late for her to do anything at that point, so I stayed at Mrs. Leigh Ann's. Aunt Mere brought me to Grandmom and Granddad's while I waited for Mom to come from her last Monday at little work. She eventually came and we came home. Mom checked on my fever. Still there. I took a bath and ate dinner. Mom checked that temperature again. Still there.

Mom has decided that she will not go to big work tomorrow so she can stay home with me. That makes me a little bit happy. :)

Now if I could just get rid of this fever.....

Singing on Sunday

Oh, Sunday. I woke Mom up in time for Sesame Street. After my snack and Sesame Street, we got clean and dressed.

After we were clean and dressed, we went to church. There were some men at church this morning that were singing. They were loud and very energetic. I liked the piano player. I enjoyed listening to them sing. Then we had to listen to the preaching. I didn't like that as much, so I went to sleep. At the end of church, the singing men started singing again. That woke me up.

After church, we went to Grandmom and Granddad's. I had lunch and then the people with lots of teeth had lunch. My lunch was really good! After the lunches, I took a long nap.

After my nap, I played for a while and we watched the Gamecocks play ball. Then Mom and I came home. We finished watching the Gamecocks beat up on those nasty Tigers from Auburn. (In case you've forgotten, Annas do NOT like Tigers!) Then I took another long, long nap. After that nap, I had dinner and got ready for bed.

Unfortunately, tomorrow is the day called Monday. Back to work. BOOO!

Mom says that there are only four more Mondays and that tomorrow is the last Monday for little work!
