My Nose

Well, this was not the day I had in mind! I woke up with such a stuffy nose!! I haven't felt like myself all day long! :(

I had breakfast and played. I watched Sesame Street and took a bath. I had lunch. Mom gave me a new sippy cup at lunch. It had princesses on it! I had to figure it out.


I am still not very good at sippy cups, but Mom says I'm getting better.


I took a nap after lunch. Mom was working on lots of cakes, so she pretty much did that for the rest of the day. I alternated between playing, napping, watching her through the gate, and sneezing. She always came to help me when I needed her.


I've had my dinner now and I still don't feel well. I think I'll go to bed. I hope I feel better tomorrow!!

I Forgot!

As Grandmom pointed out first thing this morning, I forgot to blog last night! I was so tired after my busy day that I went right to bed!

After breakfast yesterday, I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's to play with my friends. I had a great day!

When Mom picked me up, we went to the library for story time! Aunt Mere, Colin, and Brenna came, too! We also saw Mrs. Melissa, Mykah, and Jonah there. I enjoyed the show. The people were funny. :)

After the library, we went to Baby Bradyn's house. We took him some of my leftover diapers that are too small for me now. I liked playing with him.


Mom ate dinner with Uncle Chris and Aunt Krystle. I played with Uncle Chris while he was outside cooking. He's funny. :)


When we came home, I was super tired, so I just had my dinner and went to bed. There. Now you're all caught up.

Love

I had a pretty good day today! I slept in and then I had breakfast. After breakfast, I played until nap time. When I woke up, I got clean and dressed and Mom and I left. We went to the Olive Garden to eat lunch with Aunt Trina. We saw Mrs. Tracey and Ms. Angie there, too!! I had a great lunch. I had my lunch and then I had some breadstick and some fancy food called "fettuccine alfredo". It was really just noodles. I don't know what the big deal is. I had fun playing with Aunt Trina and Mom!


After lunch, we went to Target and Michael's. I was so tired when we got home, so I took a nap. When I woke up, I played. I played with my favorite bird, Cocky!!! I love that bird!!


I watched a little Super Spy in my chair.


I played and played until bedtime. I had dinner. Then I went to bed. Then I woke up. I've been playing ever since. Mom says I'm about to go to bed, whether I like it or not! I don't know what that means, but it sounds bad....

Boo Boo!

After the fireworks finally stopped last night, I went to sleep. When I woke up, I had breakfast and then I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's to play with my friends!! I had a great day until I fell down right before Mom came to get me. I have a boo boo on my lip. See??


It was hurting a lot when I got home. Mom gave me some medicine and I took a nap. I played for a little bit when I got up, but I wouldn't take my pibey out of my mouth...


Until Mom had yogurt. Then I shared some with her. :)


After I shared her yogurt, I had some dinner. My mouth still hurts and I'm tired, so I think I'll go to bed.

The Day Called Independence Day

Today was the Day Called Independence Day. Or The Fourth of July. This is what I learned:

Today was America's 235th birthday. She is very old! (Mom said America is a girl.) In 1700s, America was being bossed around by the country called England. England "owned" America and America was divided into colonies instead of states. The people that lived in the colonies were citizens of England. England, led by King George III, was being very unfair to the people in the colonies. In 1775, the American colonists began fighting with the English, or "British", people. They were having a war. It was a big war. Some brave and smart men were meeting at the same time to figure out what to do. A very smart man named Thomas Jefferson, with some help from some others, wrote a paper called the "Declaration of Independence". It said that the American colonists were not British citizens anymore and that America was a brand new country that was going to be ruled by Americans, not by the King. This paper was adopted by the group of smart men (Mom says to call them the "Continental Congress") on July 4, 1776. That is why this day is considered to be America's birthday.

(Gosh, I hope that was right. Grandmom will make me fix it if it was wrong! Even if I am just a baby!)

Though it was a holiday, today was pretty normal. Mom and I hung out around the house most of the day. This afternoon, we went to Grandmom and Granddad's. I got to talk to Pete, Helena, and Uncle Brent on Mom's iPad. That was cool. I could see them and hear them! Aunt Deborah wasn't home. After our chat, the big people ate dinner. I had a little bit. (Fried squash, barbecue, and peach cobbler.) Mom and I came home after that.


Tonight, there have been lots and lots of very loud noises at my house. Mom says that some of the neighbors are shooting their own fireworks. That seems dangerous to me. It's very loud and I can't sleep. I hope it stops soon. For now, I'm watching Sesame Street in Mom's bed.

Weekend Update...KABOOM!!!

I'm sorry about the lack of blogging yesterday. I was VERY tired. Here's what's up...

I woke up Saturday morning at the beach house. Well, technically, Mom woke me up. Hrm. She said we had to get packed and cleaned up to go home. Double hrm. At any rate, I had my breakfast and watched the progress in the house. Then we loaded up and left the beach house. Mom said that our vacation was over. I was a little sad about that. I had such a great time!!

We stopped at Chick-Fil-A for the big people to eat. I shared some of Mom's biscuit. Then we got in the car. We stayed in it for a LONG time. When we finally stopped, we were at Grandmother and Granddaddy Auten's house. I was so glad to get out of my car seat!!! I played there for a little while. I ate some lunch, too. Mostly, I talked to the bird. They said his name is Woody. Mom called him all kinds of names like "evil", "terrorist", "flesh-eater".... Mom does not like birds. I thought he was funny. :)



After we left Grandmother and Granddaddy's, we came home. To my house. All of my stuff was still here waiting for me!! I was so glad to see my stuff!!! Mom let me play for a little while and then it was back in the car! Sheesh. When the car stopped this time, we were at Chris and Krystle's. I went inside and saw them. And Baby Bradyn. And Chris's mom and grandmom. Some other people came in, too. Brian, Danielle, and Andrew and Mark, Katie, and Marky. The big people ate. I had some squeezy applesauce and some of Mom's dessert. I got to see Ella, Savanah, and their mom and dad, too.

After the party, we went to Grandmom and Granddad's. Sadie was there!!! We went to pick her up and bring her back home with us. I was so glad to see her!! I think she was glad to see me, too.

Today, I got up, had breakfast, played, took a nap, got clean and dressed, and went to Grandmom and Granddad's. I had my lunch as soon as I got there. Then I ate some of Mom's lunch, too. (Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli, butter beans, tomato, watermelon, and biscuit, Granny Kat.) Then I had some of Mom's dessert. Peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream!! It was SO good!!! After all of that eating, I took a nap!

After my nap, I played for a little while and then we came home. I took another nap. I am still so tired from vacation!!! When I woke up, I watched some of my favorite shows.


Then, all of a sudden, Mom put me in my car seat and took me out the door. Wait, what? I had no idea where we were going. She finally stopped the car in this weird little parking lot. Um...ok. When she got me out, something funny was happening in the sky. There were all these big colored lighty-up things. They would be there one minute and then they would be gone. There was lots of noise. Every one of the lighty-up things made a big BOOM! I liked them.


Mom said the lighty-up things were called "fireworks". She said they were in the sky to celebrate the day called The Fourth of July. (This was confusing to me because today is July 3rd...) I will explain more about this special day tomorrow. I have to complete my research.

I really enjoyed the fireworks, whatever day it was.


Now that we're home, I've had something to eat and I'm ready for bed. It has been a long week and weekend and I'm so tired!!

Friday At The Beach

Today was our last day on the beach. Mom says we have to go home tomorrow. I tried to make the most of it. I played in the sand, in the ocean, and in my pool. I have really loved the beach this week!


Around lunchtime, I got tired of the beach, so Mom and I went inside. I had my lunch and then I took my nap. I was going to go to the pool when I woke up, but there was a thunderstorm outside.

I got clean and dressed and then we left the beach house.

We went to a very interesting place for dinner. We sat down at a really big table. This little man in a funny hat came out to our table and set it on fire!!! Eep!!! Then he threw the food right on the table and cooked it! I had never seen anything like that before. It was very interesting.


I ate some of Mom's rice, vegetables, and chicken. It was really good!! Then Mom gave me something else that was new. Applesauce that she just squeezed into my mouth! No spoon! It was really good!!


After the applesauce, we left that funny restaurant. We went for a ride and I went to sleep. When I woke up, the big people were playing that putt putt thing again. Very interesting game indeed. There were elephants, giraffes, and zebras at this putt putt place. It was kinda fun looking at them.


I think Mom won this time. She seemed pretty pleased with herself. :)

After putt putt, we headed back to the beach house. I played while Mom and Aunt Mere started packing up all of our stuff. Mom says that after we pack the cars and clean the beach house in the morning, we will head for home. I haven't seen my house in such a long time!! I hope all of my stuff is still there!!!
