Sadie's Hair

I had a pretty good day today. Mom woke me up and I got dressed. I went downstairs for breakfast. Mom went to big work and I played with Grandmom and watched Little Einsteins.

I tried to brush Sadie's hair, but she wouldn't let me.

I don't know how she expects to be beautiful if she won't let me do her hair.

I talked to the cows on the way to Mrs. Leigh Ann's. I like that. I had a good day there. Mrs. Leigh Ann said I was "busy". I can't help it. I have a LOT to do!!

I went to Grandmom and Granddad's this afternoon to play until Mom came. She didn't have to go to little work today, so she was a little earlier than usual! We had dinner and came home. I took a bath and now I'm very tired!

To Aunt Mere's!

Mom got me up this morning and I got dressed. I was glad to see Grandmom when I went downstairs for breakfast. After breakfast, I watched Little Einsteins and played. I thought I should play with my butt paste. I think it's funny.

I had a good day at Mrs. Leigh Ann's. This afternoon, I went home with Brenna when Aunt Mere picked her up. Mom came there to get me. Everybody ate dinner together and then we came home.

I've had a bath now and I'm ready for bed!

Mom doesn't have to go to little work tomorrow!! Hooray!!

Ow. My Tummy!

Well, Monday morning found me again! It was time to get up and get to work! I got dressed and I was so happy to see Grandmom when I went downstairs. (She's back from the state called Tennessee!) I had breakfast and played for a while.

At Mrs. Leigh Ann's, my tummy went nuts! Oh goodness. My tummy had a rough rough day.

I stayed at Grandmom and Granddad's while Mom was at little work. I was glad to see everyone! Mom finally came and we had dinner and came home. I've had a bath now and I"m ready to go to bed. I hope my tummy acts right tomorrow!!

Aunt Mere and the Patriots

Today is Aunt Mere's birthday!! Yay!! Happy Birthday, Aunt Mere! I'm glad you were born!

I didn't see Aunt Mere today, though. Mom and I stayed home all day. It was pretty boring, actually. I did boring things like eat, nap, bathe, watch tv, and play. Not a lot of excitement around here today.

In other news, today was also the anniversary of an American tragedy. It happened a long time before I was born. I've learned about it today. This morning I watched something called a "memorial service". Ten years ago, some mean and crazy people flew some airplanes into some very big buildings in New York City and Washington. They caused lots and lots of people to die. Three planes crashed into buildings. One more plane crashed into a field after some brave people stood up to the bad people and took control of that plane. Lots of policemen and firemen were hurt and killed trying to save the people in the buildings. They were able to fix the building in Washington. The buildings in New York City fell down. It was a very sad day in American history. Mom said that the bad bad man that had this idea to do this to America was killed by American soldiers just a few months ago. American Soldiers have been fighting and protecting our country from more attacks like this one. Today was a day for Americans to pause and reflect on the lives lost on that day 10 years ago and also to remember those lost fighting the bad men since then. It is also a day to remember those who continue to protect us.

Dressed in my red, white, and blue (on my hairbow) today, I am thankful to live in America. I am thankful for the brave people who keep me safe every day. And I am sorry for all of the people who were hurt or lost loved ones in this terrible tragedy. God bless America!

Big Work on Game Day!

I had to go to big work with Mom today. Apparently, it was the Fall Festival. I was confused about this, as it is not the season called Fall. Mom, Mrs. April, and I were in charge of the big slide. Mom took me up to check it out.

It was really tall and I loved sliding down! At the bottom, I said "Again!".

We were at the Fall Festival for a long time. I was sleepy, but it was too busy for me to sleep. I crashed pretty hard after we left.

When I woke up, it was game time!! We were playing those nasty Georgia Bulldogs. Ew.

The game was very stressful. Lots of lead changes. My baby was worried, so I had to comfort her.

I had dinner during halftime so I wouldn't miss any of the action. The game was so stressful, I put on my rally cap. Heehee. That's what Mom called it.

During the game, I talked to Grandmom on the phone. It's her birthday today! She's still in the state called Tennessee. I hope she had a good day!

After a crazy game, my Gamecocks came out on top! Hooray!

I hope next week's game won't be so upsetting! Mom and I are exhausted!!!

Catchin' A Ride

Well, this morning started off weird. I got up earlier than usual, ate a squeezy breakfast, and got in the car with Mom! No Grandmom. (Grandmom is in the state called Tennessee, wherever that is.) Mom took me to Aunt Mere's house. I stayed there for a while and then I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's with Uncle Corey and Brenna. Thanks, Uncle Corey, for taking me with you!

I had a good day. Mom came to get me this afternoon. We came straight home and I had a snack and watched the Backyardigans. Mom was making cakes. When she was finished, I had dinner and played for a while.

Then I took a bath and got ready for bed.

Mom says we have to get up in the morning and go to big work. She says that I get to go with her. I'm not sure about all of this...

Weird

Well, today was strange. I got up and had my breakfast. But not my usual breakfast. I had squeezy breakfast! I was excited about it!

After breakfast, I escaped into the kitchen! The gate was open! Woo hoo!!

After that, Grandmom took me to Mrs. Leigh Ann's. I had a good day, but I was there for a looooong time! I even ate dinner and took a bath there! Apparently, Mom and Aunt Mere went to that WeeSale thing to buy clothes for me. Mrs. Leigh Ann said she would keep Brenna and me while they went. After my bath, Mrs. Leigh Ann brought us home. I was glad to see Mom! And I liked looking at my new clothes that I will wear when it is colder outside.

I'm having kind of a tough night, so I think I'm going to sign off. Tomorrow is the day called Friday!!
