Catching You Up On Major Events!

OK, before my Granny Kat has an aneurysm, let me update you on my life. I know it has been over a week since I updated. Even little people need a break!

So much has happened this week! Let's start with Christmas Eve. Mom and I spent most of the day baking. We went out for lunch with Mrs. Tracey. After lunch, I took a nap. Then we went to church in Lancaster. After church, we went to Grandmother and Granddaddy's house.

When we came home, I put out milk and cookies for Santa.

And played under the Christmas tree.

Then I went to bed. When I woke up, it was the Day Called Christmas! The Santa Man had been to my house! And he left this stuff!!!

I didn't really know where to start!

It was so exciting! He brought me an Innotab and a game, some books, some movies, a Sing-a-ma-jig, a Cocky pillow pet, some clothes, and an elephant ball popper! Cool!!

I love my Innotab!

I was so excited to see a Cocky doll in my stocking!

And I love this little doll. She has on a cow outfit!

After I saw my stuff from Santa, we went to Aunt Mere's for breakfast.

When we came back, I opened my presents from Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Kelly! I loved the stuff in those packages! This opening presents stuff is awesome!!

After that, Mom and I got ready and went to church. After church, we went to Grandmom and Granddad's.

Everybody came to Grandmom and Granddad's after lunch and we ate a big meal! Then it was time for presents. I opened lots and lots of them!!

It was exhausting!

Later on Christmas evening, Aunt Nelle, Aunt Nancy, and Uncle Temp came over. It was good to see them! I also taught Grandmom how to use my new Innotab.

The day after Christmas was fun, too! I slept til almost 11. Then Mom made some reindeer pancakes for me. :)

After another nap, we went to Grandmom and Granddad's. Everybody was there again, except this time, Aunt Deborah, Uncle Brent, Pete, and Helena were there too!! Yay!!! I played outside with Aunt Deborah.

We all piled on top of Katie. :)

I got to open presents again!!

I played with Grandmother.

The days of Christmas were very very busy!

On Tuesday, Mom and I wore our pajamas all day. Win. We went to Grandmom's to eat leftover Christmas food.

On Wednesday, we went to IKEA. LONG day.

On Thursday, Mom and I played at home. She made this Boots hat for me. :)

We ran some errands on Friday and played at home. I played with Sadie.

And we tried out Mom's new soft serve ice cream machine. It was fantastic!! :)

There ya go! Now you're all caught up!! :)

Almost The Big Day

I'd better catch you guys up! Mom has been SO busy (and forgetful) trying to get ready for the Day Called Christmas. My computer has been acting weird too. UGH.

Anyway, here's the cool chair Auntie Trina gave me. :)

Wednesday was a rainy, yucky day. Mom and I went with Aunt Mere to Periwinkle for lunch. Mrs. Patti gave me a sucker, which I ate before my lunch. I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. After lunch, we did some shopping. After that, we came home. Mom made something called french toast for dinner. It was good. :)

Thursday. Not a very exciting day. We went to WalMart. We had spaghettios for lunch. I had another sucker from Mrs. Patti for dessert. Yum.

Don't mess with my sucker. :)

We had chicken and dumplings for dinner. Mom did some stuff that I can't talk about because it's almost the Day Called Christmas. :)

Today. Mom did some stuff in the kitchen this morning. Then we went to the Olive Garden for lunch with Granny Kat and Katie. Mom and I went to Target after that. Mom spent most of the rest of the day in the kitchen. She was making all kinds of things for Christmas. I found out about something called marshmallow creme. Mom let me have some. So. Yum.

Definitely time for bed. I have big days ahead!! The Santa Man comes tomorrow!!!!

The Meeting

Quick catch up: Sunday, Mom and I had lunch at Grandmom and Granddad's and went to church Sunday night to hear Granddad sing. Monday was our first real day of vacation and the highlight was a trip to WalMart for groceries. Now...

Today was a great day! Early this morning, Mom and I got ready to go and we went to Lancaster. After a brief visit with Grandmother and Granddaddy Auten, Mom, Granny Kat, and I went in Granny Kat's car. On our way, we picked up Auntie Trina. We were in the car for a long time. I took a nap. When I woke up, we went to the Gamecock store! I had so much fun riding around saying "Gamecock!" at everything! After the store, we went to Rush's. I had my very own cheeseburger! It was great! Then we went to another Gamecock store. It was there that it happened. I looked up and I saw Connor Shaw. (For those of you non-Gamecock followers, he's our starting quarterback.) I told Mom to look and then she told Auntie Trina. Auntie Trina flipped out and practically ran to the back of the store to tell Granny Kat. At that point, these three grown women completely freaked out. None of them were making any sense. I was a little embarrassed to be seen with them. They were acting like loony birds. Finally, Auntie Trina got up enough nerve to talk to him. He was very nice. He let us have our picture made with him.

He held my hand and told me that his little sister's name was Anna too! Wow!! Mom and Auntie Trina and Granny Kat did not get over this meeting for the rest of the day. They are hilarious people.

After the meeting, we went to one more Gamecock store before we came home. We dropped Auntie Trina off at her house. She gave me my Christmas present. It's a Gamecock chair! I love it. I would show you a picture of me sitting in it, but my computer won't work. Sigh. Just imagine it, ok? Anyway, after we dropped her off, I played at Grandmother and Granddaddy's house for a little bit. Bobby and Uncle Hoppy were there. I think Bobby was bummed because he didn't get to meet Connor Shaw like I did. Poor Bobby. (I don't feel that sorry for him though, because he met Coach Tanner and Scott Wingo a few weeks ago. And he's met the HBC. As a matter of fact, hush, Bobby. I'm jealous!)

After a little bit of playing and stretching, Mom and I came home. We had dinner and I played. I was especially interested in Sadie tonight, as she has had her hair
cut. She looks like a different dog. I had to make sure it was her, so I got right in her face and asked her. I'm pretty sure it's her.

It's been a pretty exciting day, so I think I'll go to bed. Goodnight!

Shop. Ping.

Today was fun! After breakfast, Mom and I got dressed and went to Pineville to the place called the "mall". We found Uncle Hoppy, Granny Kat, Katie and Bobby there! We shopped and shopped and shopped. I had lunch at Chick-fil-a. It was yummy. We shopped some more. After that, we left the "mall". I fell asleep in the car. Mom says we went to Old Navy, but I slept the whole time. I kept sleeping when we got home. I was TIRED.

When I woke up, I had a snack and played. I had dinner and got into my pajamas. Mom and I read some Christmas stories. We read Merry Christmas, Curious George and Llama Llama Holiday Drama. When we were finished, I decided to read about George on my own.

It was a very enjoyable story.

I saw part of The Wizard of Oz and a show about Frosty the Snowman. I'm so tired from all of this holiday activity. I'm going to bed!!

Super Fun Day!

When Grandmom came to get me this morning, Granddad came too!! And when we left, we took Sadie with us!! What a funny morning!! We took Sadie to her doctor's office to have her hair cut. And we went out for breakfast! That was super fun! I had pancakes and sausage! YUM!

I had a great day at Mrs. Leigh Ann's! We had our Christmas party today, so I got to open presents! I got this neat puzzle.

Mrs. Leigh Ann gave me this great Gamecock shirt! Brenna got one too!

And I got a cup with my name on it!!

It was a great party!

Grandmom and Granddad and Colin picked us up and we went to get Sadie. She didn't have her hair cut. Weird. Grandmom said it was because her beautician got sick. She has to go back next week. I wonder if I'll get more pancakes...

We went to my house and waited for Mom. She came home and Aunt Mere came too, since Colin and Brenna were at my house! We played for a while, I had some dinner, and now I'm really tired. It was a busy day!

Mom is on vacation from big work and little work now! I bet we will have so much fun!! :) The Day Called Christmas is coming!!

The Parade

Yesterday was so much fun that I fell asleep before I could update you!

It was a normal day until the afternoon. Mom came early and we went uptown. I was festively attired in my red pea coat and my new reindeer hat.

It wasn't long before the parade started! It was exciting!!

I saw a band, some dancers, some fuzzy mascot things, some cheerleaders, some ladies in red hats, and some waving people. The best part of all was the GIANT cow!! I got so excited!! And mooed!!

At the very end of the parade, the Santa Man came! He called to me and waved! To me!!! :)

When the parade was over, we had pizza at Grandmom and Granddad's and came home. This is what a reindeer hat will do to your hair...

Today was a good day too. It was pretty normal. Just the regular stuff. I'm pretty tired, so I think I'll head to bed early tonight!

The Man: Part Two

I told you guys I met the Santa Man!!

I had a good day today. I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's and waited for Mom at Grandmom and Granddad's. I had fun talking about Grandmom's Christmas tree. I tried to sit in the bear's tiny chair. It seemed like the right size for me. Mom brought me home and I'm ready for bed. Mom says we have a fun afternoon planned tomorrow!

Last Working Monday of the Year!

OK, so I just forgot to blog last night. But look how cute I was!!

It was a regular Sunday (breakfast, play, nap, Grandmom and Granddad's, back home) until the evening. Then I got dressed in my cute clothes and coat and went to Colin and Brenna's church to see their Christmas program. Brenna sang a song and Colin was in a little play. Both of them did a very good job!

After the program, I had a cookie and then we left. On our way back, we went by a LOT of lights. Mom said the McNeely's know how to do Christmas lights! It was very bright and there were Christmas trees that lit up with the music that was playing. I really liked it!

Today was a good day. I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's and then waited for Mom to come back from little work. I waited for her at Aunt Mere's. She finally came and we ate dinner. It was yummy. It was special dinner for Uncle Corey's almost-birthday.

After dinner, we came home and I took a bath. I played for a little bit and now I'm ready for bed. Today was the last Monday that Mom has to go to big work until next year. That's exciting!!

Catching Up

This is what I looked like on Wednesday:

It was a pretty good day. Mom was at big and little work for a long time.

This is what I looked like on Thursday:

It was a good day, too. And call the newspaper! Mom picked me up before it was dark outside!!

I was super happy to see that it was Friday. Also a good day. I love it when Friday afternoon comes.

Today has been a pretty chilled out day. I had strawberry oatmeal for breakfast. And I stole Mom's slippers.

After my nap, Mom was painting her toes. I liked it, so I let her paint mine too. I had to sit very still. Then she blew on my piggies, which was very funny!

I had macaroni for lunch. Mom had a special treat for my dessert. A Christmas Tree cake. I loved it!

Mom and I ran a few errands after my afternoon nap. Then Mom made blueberry pancakes for dinner. They were very yummy. I played and we read Christmas stories and now I'm ready for bed.

There you go! You're all caught up on my life!
