Eggs For The Rabbit

Saturday. Usually I get excited about it, but this has been a great week without Saturday!

Mom and I woke up this morning and had breakfast and played. I took a long nap. I was tired from not taking much of a nap yesterday. I had lunch and a bath and played some more. Then I took another nap. While I took that nap, Mom made a bow for me that looks like a bunny! After my nap, Mom said we were going to dye Easter eggs. I didn't really know what that meant, but okay!

Mom put me in my Bumbo on the table and brought these cups in and put them on the table with me. They smelled horrible!

She said that was the vinegar in the dye. Anyway, she helped me put eggs into the cups and then we waited. I had a snack while we waited. At last, the first egg was ready. EW! Orange?!?! I was curious as to why we had an orange egg and why the first one had to be orange. Mom said it was because we took it out quickly before it got to be TOO orange. I wasn't impressed.

I liked the eggs better once there were more colors.

There are all my eggs. One has my name on it. One says "Mommy" for Mom. They're very colorful.

Mom said we dyed the eggs for the Easter Bunny. She said that the Easter Bunny will come while I am night night and he might leave me a present. She said I had to put out my Easter Basket for him to find. So I did.

I like my Easter basket and my pretty colored eggs. I hope the Easter Bunny likes it too!

Tomorrow is the day called Easter! I can't wait to see what kind of day it will be!!
