After Mom ate, we did lots of things together. She helped me play with my little elephant friend with the funny feet.
She let me play in my Rainforest. My hands were in there. Those things are as neat as my feet. They do all kinds of funny wiggly things. AND they fit in my mouth! I like to study them carefully. One day, I'm going to figure out how they work!
While we were playing together, Mom was also working on my Halloween costume. Can you guess what I'm going to be?? Come back soon for the answer!!

Fake Friday!
Hey, you guys!!! Guess what?!? It's Thursday!!
I'm so excited! Mom is not going to big work tomorrow, so we get to spend the whole day together!!
Grandmom came to get me this morning like always. She let me play in my swing before I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's. :)
Aunt Mere came to get me this afternoon. She and Colin and Brenna brought me home. I had a great afternoon and evening with Mom. It was SO great to be home with her at a normal time of day and to get to play together! I helped Mom make a cake. Mom let me watch my favorite movie, Baby Beethoven. I love that movie. Then I took Mom to Zaxby's so she could get some dinner.

Over the Hump
I did not want to wake up this morning!

I am Mommy's little sweetie. My shirt said so.
I had a good day today. I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's and then to Grandmom's. Mom had big work and little work, so I didn't see her for a long time.
Today was pretty boring actually. Nothing out of the ordinary. Sometimes a laid back day is just what you need! :)

When Elephants Attack....
Oh, Tuesday. It was a decent day. I was dressed in purple from head to toe. After I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's, I got to go to Grandmom's school. I met lots of new people. I can't remember everybody's names and Mom wasn't with me, so she can't help. It was fun, though.
Now I'd like to take a little time out for a public service announcement. I'd like to share some information about what to do when an elephant attacks.
It's no secret that Mom and I love elephants. We think they're great. But sometimes they forget how to behave and you have to remind them.
This morning, for example, I was minding my own business when Elly came sneaking over.
Before I knew what was happening, she was on top of me! I wasn't ready for that!
If an elephant climbs on top of you, you should always try to hug them. Elephants love hugs and are more likely to cooperate if they're happy.

Monday. I'm Not A Fan.
I had such a great weekend. I didn't want it to end. But Monday always comes sneaking back around. I didn't know anything else to do but put on some cute elephant clothes and go out to face the day.
I played with Grandmom before we left this morning.
It was a long day. I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's and then to Grandmom's house. Mom was gone for a long time. She had to go to big work and little work and then she had to go to some stores to get some stuff. She was really glad to see me. She didn't have a good day at big work. She didn't have a good day at little work either. The computer in her classroom was broken, so she was mad. After she got out, we had dinner with everyone at Grandmom's and then we came home. I had a bath, a bottle, stories, and now I'm going to sleep. I think that will help Mom because she has to make a cake tonight too. My Mom is BUSY! (But I know all she really wants to do is play with me. She told me so.)

My Weekend, Part Three: Sunday
Today was a beautiful day. It was chilly this morning, but it warmed up to a comfortable temperature in the afternoon. Mom said this is called "Fall". She says it's a good time of year because it's still warm enough to go outside, but it's not so hot that you melt.
We went to Grandmom and Granddad's for lunch. The rest of the gang had lunch with the Clintons in Clover, so I didn't get to see them. My tummy is still giving me some trouble, so I wasn't feeling my best. I try not to let it get me down though! :)
Since it was such a beautiful day, Mom decided that we should do my photo shoot outside.
Here I am, chillin' with my pumpkin from yesterday. :)
My goofy Mom put a flower in my hair!

My Weekend, Part Two: Cocky's Party!
After the Festival, I realized it was GAMEDAY!! Woot! Oh boy! A fun festival AND my Gamecocks in the same day! Woo hoo!
It was also Cocky's birthday. Cocky's 30th birthday to be exact. So Mom and I decided we should have a party for our favorite bird. We invited Granddad, Grandmom, Aunt Mere, Uncle Corey, Colin, Brenna, Uncle Hoppy, Granny Kat, Katie, and Bobby over to watch the game and have dinner with us. I was glad to see everyone. I got to talk to Katie. She makes funny faces. :)

Since it was Cocky's birthday, Mom and I made him a cake. Mom dressed him up in a tuxedo and put him on a football field. It turned out pretty cute, I think.
I showed it to my Cocky doll, since the real Cocky was in Kentucky.
My Gamecocks were playing Kentucky. They are some kind of cat. Wildcats, I think. Whatever that is. As far as I'm concerned, it's another member of the feline family to not be a fan of...

Things were going great for my Gamecocks. Marcus Lattimore was on fire, they were scoring left and right. Things were looking pretty good at halftime. That made me happy. :)
After the break called halftime, things didn't go so well. Stephon Gilmore fell down and dropped the ball. Marcus Lattimore got hurt. Alshon Jeffery got hurt. Stephen Garcia made some mistakes. And worst of all, Kentucky started scoring points. I was getting worried.
We got to the end of the game and Kentucky had come back from way behind and had gone ahead of us. The Gamecocks didn't have much time left. They were making some good plays and moving down the field. Then, with 11 seconds left, Garcia threw the ball to the end zone and one of the Kentucky guys caught it instead of a Gamecock. Not cool. Mom was NOT happy with Mr. Spurrier. She said he should have let Spencer kick a field goal to tie the game so we could have a chance to win in overtime. I reminded Mom that she is a music teacher, not a football coach and that Mr. Spurrier probably knew what he was doing. Things just didn't work out for my Gamecocks this time. :(
GO COCKS!
My Weekend, Part One: Apple Festival
Saturday!! Woot!! All day with Mom!!! No big work, no little work!! No work at all! Just fun!!
I got all dressed and ready for a fun day in the shirt Mrs. Jennifer and Peyton got for me. I love it! :)
Mom, Aunt Mere, Colin, Brenna, and I went to the Windy Hill Orchard for their Apple Festival. When we got there, I wasn't very impressed. I was sleepy.
We walked around and I still wasn't very interested. There were some goats hanging out in a pen. I didn't care about them too much. They weren't as important as my nap.
I woke up just as we were standing in line to go on a hayride. I had no idea what a hayride was. Apparently, you get on a wagon covered in hay and ride around a bumpy road. At least that's what we did.
I got to sit on Mom's lap during the hayride. Colin and Brenna had to sit on the floor of the wagon.
We bounced around on the hayride and Mom took our picture. She loves me. :)
After the hayride, Colin, Brenna, and Aunt Mere went to listen to Johnny Appleseed. (Really, it was Mr. Gusmer dressed up like Johnny Appleseed telling a story.) I was getting a little hungry, so Mom and I stayed in the picnic table area and I had some snacks. Mr. Mark's bluegrass band was playing, so I listened to them too. There were also some chickens running around. They were pretty interesting. They looked almost like gamecocks.
