I got all dressed and ready for a fun day in the shirt Mrs. Jennifer and Peyton got for me. I love it! :)
Mom, Aunt Mere, Colin, Brenna, and I went to the Windy Hill Orchard for their Apple Festival. When we got there, I wasn't very impressed. I was sleepy.
We walked around and I still wasn't very interested. There were some goats hanging out in a pen. I didn't care about them too much. They weren't as important as my nap.
I woke up just as we were standing in line to go on a hayride. I had no idea what a hayride was. Apparently, you get on a wagon covered in hay and ride around a bumpy road. At least that's what we did.
I got to sit on Mom's lap during the hayride. Colin and Brenna had to sit on the floor of the wagon.
We bounced around on the hayride and Mom took our picture. She loves me. :)
After the hayride, Colin, Brenna, and Aunt Mere went to listen to Johnny Appleseed. (Really, it was Mr. Gusmer dressed up like Johnny Appleseed telling a story.) I was getting a little hungry, so Mom and I stayed in the picnic table area and I had some snacks. Mr. Mark's bluegrass band was playing, so I listened to them too. There were also some chickens running around. They were pretty interesting. They looked almost like gamecocks.
