I'm Gonna Wash That Day Right Outta My Hair

Monday morning. Back to big work for Mom. I was stylin' in this elephant cupcake shirt that Aunt Kelly got for me. :)

Seriously. Not a good day. I think Mondays should be illegal. (That's what Mom said.) Mom went to big work. She was supposed to go to little work too, but on her way there, our car broke. I missed the activity. I was with Aunt Mere having a bad afternoon of my own. Hanging out with Aunt Mere was great...I was just not feeling well. Mom didn't get to go to little work. She had to sit in the broken car place for a long time. One of the men there had to bring her home because our car is super broken. Poor Mom was not a happy camper. She had already had a bad day at work and she had one of those bad headaches. Grandmom and Granddad brought me home. They brought Mom a car to drive too. Mom was super glad to see me. She said I made everything better. I went right to sleep. Then all of a sudden, there was this crazy shrieking beeping psycho noise!! Right above my bed!!! Mom got mad. She ran up a ladder and started swatting at the beeping thing. She told me it was just the goofy smoke alarm that goes off if she forgets to turn the fan on while she's cooking. I guess it was ok. I went back to sleep....

This is my "Get away from me, Monday!" face.

Mom and I decided to wash the yucky off of this day. I took my first real bath in my bathtub tonight. I've been taking a bath in the sink. Tonight I got to get in my tub and splash around. It was pretty fun. It made Mom smile to see me happy in the tub. :)

I got my hair all washed and clean. :)

Mom used my neat new shower thingamabob. It was pretty cool. It sprayed warm water on me so Mom didn't have to dump water on me. It felt pretty good. I was a happy little bather. :)

I hope tomorrow is a better day for me and for Mom. Tomorrow is Tuesday though. That's Mom's long day at big work. She really doesn't like that. But she loves coming home to me. :) Maybe I'll get to take another bath.....
