GAME DAY!

So Mom was so excited all day and I had no idea what her problem was. She said I had to wear "Garnet on Game Day". What is game day?? I had no idea, but she had worked hard to make clothes for me, so I didn't argue.

She even said I had to use a different pibey.

The day went on and nothing was really different. We went to the store. Mom baked some cake. I cried a lot. I was confused. Mom said it was game day and we hadn't played anything.
We packed up and went to Aunt Mere's house. Mom said it was Granddad's birthday, so I guessed we were going to a birthday party. My BFF Brenna greeted me there. I love her.

Mom was wearing "Garnet on Game Day" too. (I think that's a weird name for clothes.) But I guess we looked cute.

After everyone ate, all of a sudden, Mom started freaking out! She was cheering and clapping and singing a little song. She was teaching me to cheer too.

Then all of a sudden, I understood. I looked at the tv and there were these big guys on there. They were wearing "Garnet on Game Day" too. It was the Gamecocks! Mom had told me so much about them!! I was so excited to see them!!! The "Game" was football!

Mom made this cute dress for me to wear during the game. :)

There was no way I was letting anybody change the channel after I realized what was happening.

My Gamecocks stomped Southern Mississippi. Mom said that was the name of the other team. The Gamecocks beat them 41-13. That was great! Go Cocks!!!
