So, it was Labor Day. My first holiday. I have lived through it, and I have no idea what Labor Day is. What is the point? I don't know. I asked Mom. She didn't really know either. She said that we would like it next year because she wouldn't have to go to "school". Whatever that means. So, although I have no idea what it is, it was Labor Day. (I'll google it later.)
Mom and I had a good day. Mom said she had a lot of work to do, but I just wanted her to sit with me and play with me. She said I was more important and the work could wait. :)
In the late afternoon, we went to see Grandmom and Granddad. Mom hung a toy in the back seat for me to look at. I didn't cry in the car at all! When we got there, Granddad was cooking food in the yard. I found this to be quite unusual. I'd never heard of cooking in the yard before. But there he was, cooking food on this shiny metal thingy right out there with the bugs and birds and squirrels. Hm. Anyway, it's always fun to see Grandmom and Granddad. :)
Oh, by the way, I am berry cute. See? My shirt says so. :)
