Omaha!!

Today was a great day!!! I woke up this morning and played after breakfast. Check me out in my big girl pajamas!

After I played for a while, i took a bath and got dressed for the day. My Gamecocks were playing their second big game tonight, so I dressed appropriately.

Mom dressed appropriately, too. :)

After I ate my lunch, Mom and I went to Aunt Mere's for the big people's lunch. Grandmom and Granddad came too. Mom said her lunch was really good. I got to eat some of the corn casserole. :) After the big people lunch and some playing, I took a nap. After my nap, Mom and I came home.

Before long, it was time for the big game. This game was very important. Mom said that if the Gamecocks won, they would get to go to a place called Omaha to play in the College World Series. Last year, before I was on the outside, the Gamecocks won the College World Series. I really wanted to see them go there this year. I settled in to watch the game. In the beginning, things weren't going so great for my Gamecocks. The other team was winning 2-0. Eep. I had to get Cocky for support.

After a while, my Gamecocks scored one run and then tied the score up, 2-2. Then Christian Walker hit a home run and the Gamecocks were ahead 3-2!!! That made me smile, but just a little smile. The game was still too close!

The Gamecocks blew the game wide open in the top of the ninth inning, moving ahead 8-2. That was the way the game would end. All of the Gamecocks jumped on top of Matt Price after the last strike! They were so excited! I'm so excited, too!!

I'll get to watch the College World Series starting this weekend! Go Gamecocks!!!

Now I'm exhausted and really must go to bed. Mom says we have to get up early tomorrow to go pick up her iPad. I have no idea what that means...
