Today started out okay. I had breakfast (regular breakfast AND an apple cider doughnut!) and played while I watched Yo Gabba Gabba. After I played for a while, I took a bath and then took a nap.
When I woke up from my nap, we went to Grandmom and Granddad's. Because I had slept for so long, we almost missed lunch! Everybody was almost finished when we got there! Luckily, they saved us some food, so I got to eat. After lunch, I played with Mom in my cage. That's when the news came.
Marcus Lattimore will not be playing football for the rest of the season. That bad, bad #5 from Mississippi State hurt his leg so much that he has to have surgery. I hope that #5 feels like the dirty dog that he is. This is really bad news for my Gamecocks. Cocky and I both needed a hug.
But in the words of Coach Tanner, it's time to "win anyway". Maybe Coach Tanner needs to go talk to the football team...
After this bad news, Mom and I came home to take a nap. After our nap, we met Granny Kat, Katie, and Bobby for dinner. We went to O'Charley's. They didn't have a highchair for me. Boo. So we went to Longhorn. They didn't have a chair for any of us. We tried Chili's. They were closed. We ended up at Olive Garden. That was fine with me. I'm a noodle junkie. I ate a whole breadstick and some of Mom's ziti. She said I ate more of her ziti than she did. I couldn't help it. It was good.
After dinner, we came home. I played for a little while and now I'm finally ready for bed. You might notice that there are no pictures of me today. Mom is a slack photographer. (She's allowed to forget every once in a while, as long as she doesn't make it a habit!) I'm sure I'll be back in front of the camera tomorrow.
