This was a good weekend, even without my Gamecocks! (They were on a break this weekend. Mom says it's called a "bye week".)
Yesterday, I got up and had some breakfast. I played for a while and then I took a nap. After my nap, I watched some football with Mom. Mrs. Lesley came and watched some football with us. Then we went shopping together! We went to Old Navy and Marshall's. I got some new shoes!! When we came back, Grandmom and Granddad came to my house. (They kind of had to. I was playing with Mom's keys and she sort of locked the door behind her without getting the keys.) They came to let us in. Then we went to dinner together. I had shrimp, french fries, hushpuppies, some of Grandmom's baked potato, and some of Granddad's sweet potato. Yum!! After dinner, we came home and I got ready for bed.
This morning, I surprised Mom by showing up in her room. Mom always waits in her room until she hears me talking on Sunday mornings. This morning, I got out of my bed and went in her room to see her. She freaked out when she saw me. Then she started calling me a "spider monkey". I guess maybe I wasn't supposed to get out of my bed. Oops.
After breakfast and a nap, we went to Grandmom and Granddad's for lunch. After lunch, we came back home and I took another nap. Mom made a cake while I slept and when I woke up, one of the ladies from big work came to pick up the cake. After that, Mom and I went to Michael's.
When we came home, I had dinner and Mom took my picture with two of my pumpkins.
Then she did something funny. She put all this stuff on a table and started doing stuff to one of my pumpkins. I watched her. It was unusual. When she stopped, she turned off all the lights and this is what I saw on my pumpkin!!
DORA!!
On a pumpkin! Oh, I love it!! My Mom is so fun sometimes!
Now that all of that excitement is over, I think I'll go to bed. I wonder what Mom will do to my other pumpkins....???
