Lazy Friday

Friday was a lazy day. Grandmom had to go run some errands so she left me home alone with Mom. But we're cool. Even though Mom still can't feel her fingers (I feel a little guilty about that), she has figured out how to do diapers and tiny clothes snaps by sight and not by feeling.
I wore this really cute frog suit with little froggie feet for a little while.

Then I spit up on it. Mom says she doesn't think I like my clothes....

So she put me in this honey bunny suit. This is the third time she's put it on my body. But it was the first time I made it from being changed to the photo area before I spit up on it. :) Don't I look thoughtful in this picture?

Mom thought a close up of my face would be fun. I'm a little embarrassed because my face has broken out with weird little bumps. Mom says not to worry...that they'll go away.

Mom thinks I'm cute. She has a hard time putting the camera down sometimes.

Grandmom actually left us for the weekend. She and Granddad went on a little mini-vacation to Pigeon Forge. I think she was afraid to leave us. She's been taking such good care of me and of Mom. Aunt Meredith and Brenna came to spend the night with us. We had a slumber party!

Leaving the House...

Whew! What an exciting day!! The morning was pretty dull. Grandmom had to go to work, so Mom and I just hung out doing our morning stuff. Bath, clothes, bottles, etc. Pretty boring. But then Lisa and Nicole came to see me! Nicole hadn't met me yet, so it was exciting! Her picture is down below. While they were here, I had to get ready to go to the doctor. Mom didn't want me to be hot, so she put me in this cute little outfit.

Mom likes my feet. :)

Here's Nicole!

So I had to go to the doctor. I wasn't too worried. I took a nap on the way. Mom said I was such a good girl at the doctor. I didn't cry when they took my clothes away and put me on the scales. I weigh 7 pounds and 5 ounces now. The nurse said I was a quarter of an inch shorter than I was when I was born. I don't know about all that....
After the nurse, I got to meet Dr. Shuler. He checked out my heart, my lungs, my eyes, my head, and my hips. He said I was just perfect. Mom said she could have told him that. But she loves me, so she is a little biased. :)
While we were at the doctor's office, we ran into Granny McSwain and Mrs. Christine. Mom was so glad I got to meet Granny! I got to meet Dr. Holman too. He was nice. After the doctor's office, we went across the street and Grandmom introduced me to someone called "RoundHead." I thought that was an unusual name. Mom told me later that his real name was Charles and that he was Granddad's really good friend. He was nice too.
We left York and headed back to Rock Hill. We went to another interesting place that Mom called the "beauty shop". She said she needed to get her hair cut so she would look better. I met Mrs. Mandy and sat in her chair. Mom said she thinks I will be a good customer!

Two Weeks Old!

Mom says I need to slow down. She says I'm getting too old. I say she needs to get a grip. Crazy woman!

On my two week birthday, Mom dressed me in this little dress and bloomers. She thought I looked cute. She called me "bird legs".

It was a pretty low key day. Kim and Annabelle came to see me. They brought me a Gamecock tutu. :) I went up to my room and took a nap in my bed. Mom thought I looked tiny in that big bed.

Granddad came to have dinner with us. And Aunt Meredith came to see me too. It was a pretty good day!

My Hospital Pictures

My pictures came from the hospital! I did not have fun doing this photo shoot. Nobody in the room did. But they turned out nicely, I think...

Busy Day at the Ranch!

Ok, so maybe I don't live on a ranch...but it was a busy day anyway! My day started in the usual way. I had some breakfast and a bath and then I got dressed. I had to be super cute because I had a special visitor coming! Granny Kat and Bobby came to see me, but this time they brought Katie! I was so excited to meet her!!! She squealed a lot and made some very unusual noises! Mom said she's been at a camp all summer and that's why she hadn't met me yet. I don't know what camp is, but I'm glad Katie is finished with it!

I went to my room too. I haven't been in there very much. It was my first time in my rocking chair, so Grandmom grabbed the camera. Then she started putting these animals on Mom's lap with me. I didn't care though because I was sound asleep.

I had a wardrobe malfunction, so I had to change clothes. Check out my monogram and my cute little bare feet. :)

I spent the afternoon with Mom, Grandmom, Aunt Meredith, Colin and Brenna. That's always fun! Brenna is such a good friend. She always wants to help me!

Granddad came over after work. Then I had some more special visitors! Mrs. Jessica, Ella Rose, Mrs. Karen, and Mrs. Vickie came to see me. They made a yummy dinner for the big people and played with me for a little while.

I am so lucky to have so many people who love me! :)

Feelin' Blue

I don't have a lot to say about Sunday. I had a tummy ache and didn't feel very comfy at all. Since I spit up on my cute little Honey Bunny suit that Mom tried to put me in, she had to take a major step and put me in blue.

Since I don't have much to say, you can just marvel at my cuteness.

She put a bow in my hair and changed my Boppy cover to match my cupcake suit.

Until tomorrow....

Saturday, Saturday, Saturday....

Saturday was not very eventful. Grandmom went to do some shopping and Mom and I hung out together. I was wearing a cute bunny suit with cute bunny feet.

I had a few visitors. Mrs. Kim, Mikenna, and Lee Ann came to see me. Grandmom came back and made Mom take a nap. While she was sleeping, Ms. Lynn came from across the street and brought me a present. That was super nice!

When Mom woke up, Grandmom went to her house for a little while. She came back with Granddad.

Aunt Meredith came and spent the night with us. It was a fun sleepover. :)

What's the Big Deal?

Grown ups get excited about Friday. I don't get it. What's the big deal? It seemed like any other day to me. Whatever.

It was a fairly calm day around here. I got up, had some snacks, and had a bath. I wore a super cute elephant outfit. I must have liked it because I didn't spit up on it or otherwise destroy it in any way.

It had a ruffle butt. Mom likes those.

I had some company. Mrs. Anne came to see me and snuggle with me. She brought me some CDs for Mom to load on my mp3 player.

Mom's friend Carol came to visit too. She brought me a fun bag of stuff. Granddad popped in for a minute to get Grandmom to take her to dinner. Aunt Meredith, Colin, and Brenna stayed and ate dinner with Mom and me. I had a pretty good night. No more tummy ache! That's it for now. Peace out!

Tough Day

Ah, Thursday. What a day....
My dog had to go the the dog doctor to get her yearly checkup and a haircut. Grandmom took her in the car and left me home alone with Mom. I thought it would be a good time to test my mom and see if she's made of tough stuff or not. So I spit up. I did a great job. I'm pretty sure I managed to get my whole bottle to come back up. Mom said, "Oh, oh baby! No more of that!" I thought she might freak out a little better than that. But she just took my clothes off and gave me a bath. Hrm. My plan backfired. I guess Mom is tougher than I thought.
After my bath, Mom took a major step (for her). She dressed me in purple. No pink. She said I still looked adorable. :)

Most of the day was pretty calm. I got to try out my bouncy seat for the first time. I was underwhelmed. Mom said I'm too little to make it bounce.

I had visitors in the afternoon. Krystle and Chris came to see me. Chris was excited to meet me.

Aunt Meredith and Brenna and Granddad came for dinner. The big people had spaghetti. I had more milk that upset my tummy. :( Then Granny Kat, Uncle Hoppy, and Bobby stopped by. They said they were "in the neighborhood." I don't believe that. There's nothing of interest in this neighborhood except for me! It was nice to see them though, even if I wasn't feeling at my best.
I had a pretty rough night. My tummy was hurting a LOT. Mom and Grandmom thought it may have been the sensitive formula, so Grandmom went to the store and got the regular kind. I've felt a lot better since then.

A Week Old!

I was a week old yesterday! Time flies when you're having fun and being loved! Yesterday was a very busy day. I had a spongebath in the morning. My hair got very curly and Mom thought it was cute.

Then they made me sit on the couch and have my picture made in my "I Make Mommy Smile" shirt.

I had lots of visitors yesterday. Mom's friend Jill came to meet me. She's a nut. Grandmother, Granddaddy, and Bobby came to visit. Grandmother brought some of her famous chicken salad for the grown ups to eat. Mom was so excited!!

Kim brought Annabelle to meet me too. Annabelle had fun trying to peek into my bed to see me. Aunt Meredith, Colin, and Brenna came to hang out too. I love it when they're here! Mom was in the middle of throwing a major fit when everyone was here. Something about the photography company losing my newborn pictures. She was huffing and puffing a lot. The lady on the phone said she should be able to find them eventually, but Mom is still really mad about it. When things calmed down a little bit, I got in my swing. Mom caught me sucking my thumb.

Mom's friends came over and brought dinner. Trina, Lisa, and Kelli brought pizza for Mom and lots of lovin' for me! We had a fun girls night in!
My week old birthday was a great day. I have so many people that love me. Mom loves this last picture that Kim took. She says we have Wonder Twin noses...I don't know what that means....I'm not up on all of her pop culture references yet.

Fun Day!

Oh boy! I had another great day on Tuesday! Mom and Grandmom and I had a great morning. Grandmom gave me a spongebath. I'm not really a fan of that. I hope I can take a real bath in the bathtub soon. That seems like more fun...

Mom's friend Tracey came to meet me. She brought Mom some lunch. I didn't get to have any. I have to eat that stuff in the bottle...Fail. Mom and Tracey had fun visiting and I enjoyed meeting her.

While Tracey was visiting, Grandmom went to run some errands. When she came back, she brought my dog!!! Sadie came home yesterday! Mom had told me that I had a dog, but I didn't really believe her until I saw her. Mom was SO happy to see that little furry ball. She didn't want to hang out with me very much. I tried to reach out and pet her, but she ran away. I think she thought I was too little to play with. Oh well...I'm sure Sadie and I will be great friends someday. :)

Granddad came over after work so he could see me and eat dinner with Mom and Grandmom. Then I got to meet Aunt Nelle and Aunt Nancy. That was exciting! I'd heard about them. They seem like lots of fun and I can't wait to get to know them better!

Mom says I'm still such a great baby. Well, of course I am! We're all having lots of fun together. I wonder what today will bring....
