Leaving the House...

Whew! What an exciting day!! The morning was pretty dull. Grandmom had to go to work, so Mom and I just hung out doing our morning stuff. Bath, clothes, bottles, etc. Pretty boring. But then Lisa and Nicole came to see me! Nicole hadn't met me yet, so it was exciting! Her picture is down below. While they were here, I had to get ready to go to the doctor. Mom didn't want me to be hot, so she put me in this cute little outfit.

Mom likes my feet. :)

Here's Nicole!

So I had to go to the doctor. I wasn't too worried. I took a nap on the way. Mom said I was such a good girl at the doctor. I didn't cry when they took my clothes away and put me on the scales. I weigh 7 pounds and 5 ounces now. The nurse said I was a quarter of an inch shorter than I was when I was born. I don't know about all that....
After the nurse, I got to meet Dr. Shuler. He checked out my heart, my lungs, my eyes, my head, and my hips. He said I was just perfect. Mom said she could have told him that. But she loves me, so she is a little biased. :)
While we were at the doctor's office, we ran into Granny McSwain and Mrs. Christine. Mom was so glad I got to meet Granny! I got to meet Dr. Holman too. He was nice. After the doctor's office, we went across the street and Grandmom introduced me to someone called "RoundHead." I thought that was an unusual name. Mom told me later that his real name was Charles and that he was Granddad's really good friend. He was nice too.
We left York and headed back to Rock Hill. We went to another interesting place that Mom called the "beauty shop". She said she needed to get her hair cut so she would look better. I met Mrs. Mandy and sat in her chair. Mom said she thinks I will be a good customer!
