All day on my birthday, Mom kept saying she'd buy me a pony if I'd just come out. Here's my pony:
Granny Kat and Mom decided I should get dressed in real clothes. Unfortunately, they were too big. (Aunt Meredith brought some smaller clothes for me later on.) This elephant suit that Mom thought was so tiny ate me alive.
The photographer was coming to make my pictures, so Aunt Meredith dressed me up so I would be pretty. And we replaced the yarn bow with a real one. :)
Mom had taken a shower and was feeling much better, so we had our picture made together.
Our time with the photographer was....um....interesting. The pictures came out great (if I do say so myself) but it was a tough time. Mom says when she gets them back, she'll help me post them on here. It should be next week sometime.
After the photo shoot, my visitors started to arrive! First on the scene was Uncle Temp. He said I was a really pretty baby. :) Next up were Mrs. Kim and Mikenna. They brought me some hairbows and some Cheerwine Krispy Kremes for Mom.
Next came Mom's buddy Kim. She was so glad to finally meet me!
Then I finally got to meet Grandmother Auten, Granddaddy Auten, and Bobby. They were thrilled to meet me!
I had several more visitors after that! Krystle came to see me, but she didn't get to hold me because I was busy. Lee Ann came to see me too, but she didn't want to hold me because she had been working all day in the hospital. Jason came to visit and brought me a pink elephant to play with. Mrs. Pam came to visit and brought me a rubber duckie to play with. Mom's friends Trina and Lisa finally made it to the hospital in the afternoon. They brought me a new book and a new blanket with my name on it!
We had a break in the action for just a little while and Mom and I took that opportunity to rest a bit. Then Uncle Corey, Colin, Brenna and Granddad came back to see me. Uncle Corey, Colin, and Granddad got to hold me for the first time and Brenna decided she really likes me!
