Mom had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday morning to check on me. She wasn't very happy when she left because they told her I might not be coming anytime soon. But at 9:30 Tuesday night, Mom started hurting! Grandmom was spending the night with her so she started paying attention to how often she was having a pain. Things stayed about 10 minutes apart for a couple of hours with a few coming closer together. Mom and Grandmom took showers and got dressed. Mom put on her makeup because she said she wanted to at least try to look pretty when and if she got to meet me. All of a sudden, Mom started hurting every three minutes or so. Grandmom flipped out and decided it was time to go to the hospital. Unfortunately, the nurse at the hospital wasn't as excited as Mom and Grandmom. She made them walk around the hospital for an hour!! At 3:00 in the morning!!! Mom wasn't excited. At about 4:30, they decided that Mom could stay. She was glad about that! Lots of time passed. A nice man came and gave Mom a shot in her back so she would feel better. Aunt Meredith came to wait with Grandmom and Mom. Around 1:00 or so, Mom's magic shot in the back stopped working. So the nice man (who Mom was not so happy with at that particular moment) came back and gave her some more medicine. At about 4:20, Jennifer the nurse and Dr. Hilton told Mom that I was ready to show up for the party! They gave Mom some quick instructions, Aunt Meredith got the camera ready, and here I came! I said hi to everyone at 4:51 pm! Everybody was screaming about my hair....I didn't know I wasn't supposed to have so much! After a quick wipe down, I said hi to Mom up close. Then I went in to get checked out. They said I weighed 6 pounds 10 ounces and they said I was 21 inches long. Then I went back to hang out with Mom some more. After a little quality time, I went in for my wash and brush up. Then I came back to Mom for my first snacks. That's most of the exciting stuff...
After we moved to our room, Granddad, Uncle Corey, Colin and Brenna came to meet me! It was so exciting!! Then Granny Kat and Uncle Hoppy came to see me too! Granny Kat spent the night with us so Grandmom could go home and get some sleep. Later on that night, Mom's friends Amanda, Erin, and Jessica came to see me (and Mom too, I guess, but mostly me!). Then I went to the nursery to spend the night so my Mom could get some sleep. She was tired, I guess.
