Have You Seen My Dog???

This morning I got ready for my day. Grandmom came to get me. She said we had to leave right away.

We took Sadie with us! I thought she was going to Mrs. Leigh Ann's with me, but she went to Grandmom and Granddad's house instead. Curious.

I had a great day today. I played with my friends and then I played and napped at Grandmom and Granddad's house this afternoon. Grandmom and Granddad took me to Aunt Mere's and Mom was there! All of the big people ate dinner. Aunt Mere shared something called "corn casserole" with me. It was fabulous!

After dinner, Mom and I came home. This is who was waiting for me:

Um. I got a new dog!!! Oh wait, she's wearing Sadie's collar. Hey, she IS Sadie!!!! Sadie got a haircut today!! I had to study her very carefully to believe it was really her. I finally knew it was her when she tried to eat my puffs. We're friends like that!

I like Sadie's new hairdo. I think she looks much happier and much cooler. It's getting very hot around here.

I'm glad I don't have a new dog.

I love the one I already have!
