What Is Field Day??

I had to get up early this morning. Mom had to go to big work early because it was something called "Field Day". That made me wonder...what is Field Day??

I had to wonder all day long. It was a good day though. Grandmom took me by to see Granddad on the way to Mrs. Leigh Ann's. I played with my friends all day long. I stole Salleigh's ice cream. It was a good day.

This afternoon, Mom picked me up. "Field Day" was over. Mom is all red. Her arms are bright red and her nose is red. She looks funny. She said that she got burned by the sun at "Field Day". I finally made her tell me what that meant. She said it only meant that she had to play outside all day long with her children at school. Oh.

I was super tired when we got home, so I took a long nap. I've been playing since I woke up. I just had my dinner and now I'm ready for bed! Mom finished all of her cakes while I was napping, so we get to play tomorrow!!! Night night!!
