Church

It was a big day. I went to church today for the first time. Mom and I finally got our acts together enough to make it on time. Yay, us! I wasn't really sure where we were going, but I was cooperative. Mom said I had to wear my fancy dress. And fancy socks. And my shoes! Goodness.

I threw Mom a bone and sat pretty for some pictures after I got dressed. I knew it would make her happy. Look, I even smiled.

So off we went to church. I met LOTS of new people. Everyone was talking about how little I am and how much hair I have. (As if I hadn't noticed my own size and hair...) Church started. It wasn't like anything I had ever done before. For a while, there was some music. I liked that part. Then Preacher Carey (I met him in the hospital) stood up and started talking. I didn't really understand what he was talking about, so I decided it was a good time to take a nap. When he stopped talking, Grandmom went to play the piano again and then everyone got up to leave.
Grandmom took my picture with Mom at the front of the big room we were in.

I met lots more people, including Preacher Will. His head was shiny. He thought I was adorable. He tried to steal me. Mom said he couldn't have me, but he could visit and play with me.

After church, we went to Grandmom and Granddad's for lunch. Mom made me have my picture made on the deck. (That woman and her camera...)

After lunch, Grandmom, Granddad, Aunt Mere, Colin, Brenna, Mom, and I went to Lancaster to visit Grandmother and Granddaddy Auten. We got to see Granny Kat and Uncle Hoppy too. It was a fun trip.
I was worn out after such a busy day. I took a long nap when we got home. Mom did some chores and made some hairbows. I like to sleep and let her do things. She usually does things for me. :)
