Hangin' With B

What a fun day! Mom and I got a call from Aunt Mere at about 6:30. Mrs. Leigh Ann's little boy was sick and she couldn't keep Brenna at her house. Aunt Mere was wondering if B could come stay with us. Of course! Play day!!! Woo!

I was excited when I woke up and Brenna was here with us! She helped Mom give me a bath. Then I put on my flamingo suit so that we would match. Aren't we cute?!?

I love her. She loves me too!

We watched a lot of Nick Jr. and Sprout. That was a fun change from Mom's usual lineup of the Golden Girls, Say Yes to the Dress, and Grey's Anatomy!

Brenna played with me a lot. She watched me while I was in my swing to make sure I was ok. (Side note: Mom doesn't trust me very much. She makes me wear these giant bibs when I'm in my car seat and my swing. Something about not liking to clean up spit up...)

I got to try something new while I was playing with Brenna. Mom got this jungle mat out for me to play on. She said she thought I was old enough now. I loved it!! I looked all around at all the things and smiled and laughed. Brenna helped me with the things I couldn't reach...like the little animal that sings. What a fun toy!

Aunt Mere, Uncle Corey, and Colin came to get Brenna later on. Aunt Mere made pancakes for everyone. Then they watched me while Mom went to the store to get cake stuff. Sounds like it's time for us to spend some more time in the kitchen...
