The Cupcake Kid

Mom says that on Saturdays, we'll usually be spending some time in the kitchen. She likes to make cakes for people. You can check them out here if you're tired of listening to me. I helped Mom in the kitchen this time. I even wore my little apron that Grandmom made for me. :) One of Mom's friends said that if she is the cake lady, I must be the cupcake kid. I think that will be my kitchen nickname. Don't I look helpful??

I was a really good girl all day. I took an extra long nap in in the afternoon and let Mom get some things done. She cleaned up the house and even gave my dog a bath. Sadie was mad for the rest of the day. Poor Sadie. When she finished her chores, I was still sleeping, so Mom worked on some of her crafty projects. All of a sudden she thinks she's crafty. Silly Mom. She has been making hairbows for me. She says that anybody with as much hair as I have should have lots of hairbows! She made the one I'm wearing in these pictures. It's a flamingo. It matches my flamingo outfit. :)

"Have you seen this thing in my head? Mom is so silly!"

Grandmom came over for a little while to watch me so Mom could go to the store. She needed to get food and diapers for me! I'm glad she went. I like to eat! She was glad she didn't have to take me along. She said Wal Mart was a madhouse. Poor Mom.

We had a great Saturday. I wonder if we'll have work to do in the kitchen next weekend...
