The Day Called Halloween

Hey, everybody!!! Guess what?!?!?!

Today was the day called Halloween!!! FINALLY!!! That's why I have on my pumpkin pajamas!!!

But it seemed like a pretty normal day to me. A normal Sunday anyway. Mom and I got ready and went to Grandmom and Granddad's house. Everyone was there. Clearly, though, I was the "leader of the patch".

Then my Halloween went downhill in a hurry. My tummy did NOT want to hold my snacks. My snacks went everywhere. Not good. After I got sick, I took a nap. While I was napping, Mom loaded me up and she and Grandmom took me on a shopping adventure. We went to that Babies R Us store. I got some new food, new pibeys, and a new toy. Then we went to the Target store. Mom got a couple of things for me there too. :) But my tummy was still acting crazy. And my snacks were still reappearing. :(
I took a nap on the way home. I kept napping while Mom drove me home.
Mom said it was just silly not to wear my costume for at least a minute on the day called Halloween. I put it on for a few minutes.

Look. Here I am. Fighting for your rights. Woo.
And looking thoughtful...

Mrs. Chalica came over to spend some time with us tonight. My snacks reappeared on her too. Nobody was safe today. We had some fun though. :)
If you ask me, the day called Halloween was kind of a bust. I didn't get any candy or anything Halloweeny like that (although I did get a very nice card and a big dollar from Grandmom and Granddad). And my tummy hurts. I'm going to bed now, a little afraid to get excited about the day called "Thanksgiving".... (Mom says that's next.)

Cakes, Gamecocks, and Pictures

Whew! What a busy Saturday!!

First, Mom had lots of cake work to do. I was a really nice baby and I sat in my swing and watched Baby Beethoven while she worked. Wasn't that nice of me? :)

Then, my Gamecocks played! Yay for Game Day! Today, they played the Tennessee Volunteers. I'm not sure what they're volunteering for, or why they had a dog with them. Mom wasn't sure either, but she said they call the dog "Smokey". Whatever. Cocky and Sir Big Spur are WAY cooler.

The game was pretty good. Marcus Lattimore was feeling all better and he was back on the field. The Gamecocks made some silly mistakes that caused a little trouble. The Volunteers acted like they were going to try to play ball with us. I think not. The Gamecocks shut them down, 38-24. That's what I like to see. With this victory, the Gamecocks are now officially "bowl eligible". I had to ask Mom about that one. Apparently, the teams that do well during the season get to play an extra game called a "bowl game" after the season is over. Mom says that's good for the team and good for us because we get to see our guys play one more time before the long wait for Fall begins. GO COCKS!

After the game, we went to see Mrs. Chalica so she could take my pictures. I wore some different clothes and had my picture taken lots of different ways. I did some by myself and some with Mom. It was pretty fun!

After the shoot, I took a nap at the Packs' house.

After my nap, Mom and I came home. I had a snack, put on my pajamas, and played for a little while.

I'm wearing my pumpkin pajamas, even though it is STILL not the day called Halloween. I'm starting to doubt the existence of this day....

I helped Mom with some Facebooking.

While we were Facebooking, Mrs. Chalica sent some previews of the pictures she made today. Here's one of them. I like it. :) Do you like it?

Since it's been such a busy day, I think I'll hit the hay. I love Saturdays with Mom!

Halloween and Birthday Parties!!!

We had a Halloween Party at Mrs. Leigh Ann's today! (Even though today was STILL not the day called Halloween.)

Mrs. Leigh Ann got everything ready for us while we were taking our naps. :)

Check me out! I'm ready!

Brenna was enjoying the party too!
My friend Laine was enjoying herself too!

Whoa! Halloween parties are crazy! There's an orange spider on me!!

After Mom picked me up and I took a nap, we went to the Olive Garden to celebrate Bobby's birthday. Granny Kat, Katie, Bobby, and Bobby's friend were there. Uncle Hoppy couldn't come because he was on the radio.
After dinner, we came back home and I helped Mom with her cakes! It was a great day! :)

Bloggin'

I am bursting to tell you what I thought of Mom being at big work for such a long time today, but Mom says I should be nice. So I'll keep quiet...

But they'd better not hijack my Mom like that again!

Since Mom had such a long day, just enjoy these pictures of me writing to you!

Just checking out my handiwork...

Concentrating on what to say next....

Spell check!!!

Long Day...

It was Wednesday. It was a long one. I got all dressed and ready.

I played with Grandmom.

Mom was gone for a long long time. She had little work and big work. I stayed with Grandmom until she came to get me. When we got home, I had a bath and went to bed.
Mom has to work for a super long time at big work on Thursday. I won't get to see her very much at all. That makes both of us sad...

Phooey

It was dark and foggy this morning. Mom said she dressed me like the sunshine. I smiled real big too so she would be happy today. :) I also had on yellow piggy covers. Mom says they're really called "socks", but I think "piggy covers" is better. Don't you?

I went to Mrs. Leigh Ann's and Grandmom's. Mom came when she finally got to leave big work. I was sleeping and didn't know she was there for a long time. When we finally got home, it was bath time. I had a few minutes of play time with my bed friends while Mom did some stuff.

Then it was snack time and now it's night night time. Today's story was not so interesting...maybe tomorrow will be better.

The Time of My Life

"Nobody puts Baby in the corner!!" Mom had to explain this to me. She loves this shirt. She bought it for Brenna when Brenna was little like me. Apparently, in some movie called Dirty Dancing, some guy named Johnny tells some girl named Baby's father that "Nobody puts Baby in a corner." I get it now. See, her name was Baby and I am a baby. Got it. Do you get it? (Maybe you have to watch the movie...Mom says it's one of her favorites.)

Anyway, if you put Baby in the corner, she'll pout. See?

I had a good day. No corners for me. Mrs. Leigh Ann's to Grandmom's. Mom had big work and little work, so it was a long day.
After we came home and I had my bath, I had my picture made with my Pooh pumpkin since I didn't get to do that yesterday.
Here I am, posing like Pooh....

And checking out my foot while hanging out with my pumpkin. In my "Mommy's Little Pumpkin" suit. Mom is all about matching my clothes to my activities. :)

Tomorrow will be another long day. It's Mom's long day at big work. Goofy Tuesdays! I'll talk to y'all tomorrow. And until then, keep the babies out of the corner!!!

PARTAY!!! And More Pumpkin Fun...

Sunday! Funday! I love the weekend!

Mom and I had to go to a party today for Mrs. Jessica and Savanah (still not on the outside). It was a nice warm day, so I decided to show my Gamecock pride. :)

I was super excited to see Mrs. Leigh Ann when we got to the church. Then I played with Mrs. Amanda and Carrigan too. :)

Savanah got lots of nice presents, even though she can't see them yet.
After the party, Mom and I came home. Mom did some chores while I took a nap.
Mom put me in some of my Halloween clothes. (It's still not the day called Halloween...) Mom said she was going to help me carve my pumpkins, but she wanted to take some pictures of me with them first. She said it was easier to take pictures at home than in a pumpkin patch and since I had four pumpkins now, I had a mini-patch of my own.
My feet showed up at the photo shoot.... Holy cow! Do you see them down there?!?

SURPRISE! :)

Mom says this one is cute. :)

I helped Mom carve my pumpkin. Well, I helped her by going to sleep. She said I was too little to use the saws. I'm sure she's right. That stuff looked hard. Poor Mom reacted badly to the pumpkin. Her arm was red and bumpy and swollen. She said that had never happened before when she carved pumpkins. I was worried about her, but she said she'd be ok. My Mom is tough. :)
Mom finished my pumpkin. It's a Pooh pumpkin. :) She said she'd do the other one later.

I had a great weekend with Mom. I wish she didn't have to go to big work tomorrow. I know she goes there for me, though. She said it's going to be a long week because they're making her stay lots of extra hours at big work. I don't think that's very nice. I think she's there enough!!
Have a great week, everybody!!

More Pumpkins, New (Old) Friends, and Gamecocks!

Saturday! I love Saturday!! :)

Mom and I went to the Bush-N-Vine this morning. I got to meet Mom's friends Chalica and Jason and their children, Emma and Jackson. They have been living in a faraway place called Korea for the last two years. Now they live in America again. Mom was happy about that. I got to meet Jason's mom and dad and sister, Michelle, too.

After I played with Chalica, I had my pictures made with some more pumpkins.

We went on a hayride down to the pumpkin patch. I got to see pumpkins growing on their vines! Mom picked out a nice one for me. I got kinda tired in the pumpkin patch and fell asleep on Mom's shoulder. While I was sleeping, Mom says we rode the hayride back and Kim and Annabelle were there! I was still sleepy though.

After the Bush-N-Vine, we went to Windy Hill. I had my lunch there and watched the chickens. It was fun. :)
After Windy Hill, I had a tummy ache so we came home. I took a nap and tried to get my tummy to feel better.
After a couple of naps, it was game time!!! Woo hoo!!! GO COCKS!!!
But they didn't go. They didn't do anything. Mom was VERY upset. I couldn't believe the beginning of the game...
I mean, it was upsetting. The Gamecocks were playing some place called Vanderbilt and the Vanderbilt people were winning. Not cool, Gamecocks. Not cool. I didn't know what to do. How could I help my Gamecocks?? I didn't know anything to do but eat my hands. It was very stressful.

And then it just got plain boring. So I decided to try to figure out how my hands work...

I studied them very carefully...

Just before the halftime break, the Gamecocks finally scored. After that halftime break thing, the game got better. The Gamecocks remembered how to play ball. They got serious and pulled ahead 14-7. Then a little later on, Stephen and Alshon put together a great 72-yard touchdown play and the Gamecocks were ahead 21-7. That's the way it ended. Good job, Gamecocks. Way to get your heads back in the game. Your devoted fans appreciate it. :)
Gamecock victories make me happy!! :)

GO COCKS!!!

Pumpkins!!

Yay! Fun day! Mom did not go to big work today, so we got to play all day long!

We met Uncle Corey, Aunt Mere, Colin, and Brenna for a mini-adventure. We headed off to The Peach Tree to visit the pumpkin patch.

When we got there, Mr. Ben came out to talk to me. Mom told me that he owns The Peach Tree. He asked me if I was excited about my first Halloween. Then he stepped inside and came back out with a tiny pumpkin for me!

After I told Mr. Ben thank you, Mom and I walked over to the pumpkin patch. I had never seen that many pumpkins before!

Mom took lots of pictures of me. It was a little tricky since I don't know how to sit up by myself!

She took lots and lots of pictures...

Then I got to put on my Halloween costume for the first time! Check me out! I'm Wonder Woman! Mom bought my costume, but then she made a tiara and Amazonium bracelets for me. She said that no self-respecting Wonder Woman would dare go out without her bling. :)

Brenna is Alice in Wonderland this year. I really liked her costume! Colin is a Jedi, but he was off playing in the hay maze and playing the pumpkin games, so I didn't get to take his picture!

I did get to have my picture made with Mom. Thanks, Aunt Mere!

Mom was playing with me in the pumpkin patch. She was making me fly. I gently reminded her that Wonder Woman does not fly unless she is in her invisible plane.

Before we left the pumpkin patch, Mom let me pick out my very own big pumpkin. She said that we might carve it tomorrow. I'm not sure what that means, but it sounds like another fun activity to do with Mom!
We came home and took a nap together. It was a good nap!
When I woke up, I played with Mom some more. And then, wouldn't ya know it, my hands showed up!!! I just do not know what to think about those things!
We played together and I watched Baby Beethoven while Mom did some dishes. Then we went to the big store called Wal-Mart. That was weird. There was too much going on there. I'm not sure I blinked the whole time. While we were picking up a present for Baby Savanah (who has not started her life on the outside yet), Mom found this cool new toy for me. It has Mirror Baby in it!! I love that girl!! She rides in the car with me too! And sometimes I see her in the bathroom before or after I take my bath! I like talking to her!

I really like this new toy. I played with it for a long time. Mom said it would be good for my tummy time. :)

I had such a great day with Mom. I could tell she loved spending the day with me too. She didn't seem stressed out or busy at all. She was relaxed and happy. :)
I wonder what kind of adventures we'll have tomorrow...We have two more days of weekend left!!! Woohoo!!! :)
