This was a great one. We got up early so we didn't miss much. I played with Mom a lot. She had ice cream in this cup. I was very interested in the cup and why Mom was having ice cream for breakfast. She said it was because she could and when I was older she would get me a cup too. :)
After "breakfast", we had to go to that place called Wal Mart. That place creeps me out. There is too much happening there. After Wal Mart, I helped Mom make cakes. When the cakes were finished, it was game time! I was really tired though, so I took a nap. While I was sleeping, my Gamecocks totally demolished Troy. Mom said it was fun to watch. By the time I woke up, all of the main guys were just hanging out. Stephen, Marcus, Alshon...they weren't playing anymore. Mom said that Coach Spurrier was giving the other guys a chance to play because the Gamecocks were so far ahead. She said it was also a good idea to protect those guys from getting hurt before the game against the dreaded Clemson (shudder) and the SEC Championship. While the game was finishing up, I played with Thing. The game wasn't as exciting as usual. After all, it was 69-24. Total domination.
After the game (and another short nap), Mom and I got ready to go to Aunt Nelle's house. We were going to see the self-proclaimed "coolest guy in the world", Mom's cousin Derek. On our way there, Mom yelled real loud in the car. I checked to see what was the matter. A big woodland creature called a "deer" had just run into our car. Mom was freaked out. I thought that it wasn't a very smart thing for the deer to be playing in the street. I asked Mom about that and she said that deer aren't very smart, but that this one seemed to be okay as it scampered off into the woods. She also said that luckily, the car seemed to be okay too.
When we got to Aunt Nelle's, Uncle Temp and Aunt Nancy were there too. Derek wasn't there yet, so we all played together while we waited for him. Aunt Nelle has one of those sparkly trees in her house too. Her tree is very beautiful. I had a great time sitting on Aunt Nancy's lap and playing with Uncle Temp. When Derek arrived, I think he thought I was a puppy. He scratched my tummy. Grandmom and Granddad even came. We all had fun playing together. I even got to talk to MG the Bear.
