I like Sunday. This one was a little different. I couldn't go see Grandmom and Granddad. Granddad is sick now. He has the germ that was so mean to Grandmom. :( I hope he feels better soon.
Since I couldn't go see them, I stayed in my pajamas for a long time. Eventually, Mom said it was time to get dressed. Something about a game. I took a bath and Mom put this shirt on me.
Mom said we were going to Aunt Mere and Uncle Corey's to watch the Super Bowl. I wasn't too excited to go look at a big dish, but whatever. Then Mom explained that the Super Bowl is the last game of the football season. It's apparently a big deal. People have parties and stuff. This time, there were people called Packers playing people called Steelers. Mom said that we were going to cheer for the people called the Packers because they wear cheese on their heads and that's funny. They also wear green, which is why I was wearing this shirt. I took exception to the shirt though, and spit up on it. Mom changed me into my I Love Cookies shirt since the Super Bowl is partially about eating too. I didn't like that one either. I ended up in my pink elephant shirt. I was ok with that.
At Aunt Mere's, I got to play with this ball. It wasn't a football, but it was fun anyway.
I really liked it. Brenna made it do funny things in the floor like bounce and roll. I laughed and laughed.
During the game, Brenna and I had a tea party. It was Brenna's idea.
I enjoyed watching that football game. I love football! Mom and I came home before the game was over. At the end of the game, the Packers had more points than the Steelers. They got a big shiny football statue thing.
It's time for me to go to sleep now. This makes me sad for a few reasons. Glee is coming on and that's my favorite show. I'm going to miss it. Sad. Sunday night means the end of the weekend and back to work. Sad. Mom says there won't be any more football for a long time. Until Fall. Sad. Goodnight.
