Happy Birthday, Sadie!!

What day is it??

It's Sadie's birthday!!! YAY!! Happy Birthday, Sadie!!

Sadie is my dog. I love her. For real. She is so furry and fluffy and soft. She is thirteen years old today. Wow! Thirteen whole years! I don't even have one yet and my Sadie has thirteen!! Mom says that thirteen is getting on the older side for dogs. She says that Sadie is a "senior". I don't think Sadie is very "senior". I think Sadie is just right! I've heard that puppies and young dogs can be a bit wild. I've heard that younger dogs can jump on you and knock you down. Not Sadie! Sadie doesn't jump! She says it's not dignified. I've heard that younger dogs can be kind of mean to babies and not let them in their space. Not Sadie! As long as she has her blanket, she's perfectly happy! Sadie and I have gotten a lot closer lately. She will let me pet her now. Sometimes. :)

I had a good day today. I stayed at Mrs. Leigh Ann's and then at Grandmom and Granddad's until Mom got out of big work. Mom ate dinner with Grandmom and Granddad and then we came home. I had my dinner!! Tonight, I got to try a new food. Pears! They were yummy just like the apples!! Sadie came over during my dinner. I think she was trying to steal my snacks!!

Birthday or not, I'm not sharing my food!!! Back up, Sadie!

After dinner, I had my bath and got ready for bed. I guess I'll get to sleep now. I hope my buddy had a great birthday! (She got to eat the food called "cake"!)
