MILK Day

Today was a holiday of some sort. Everything said MLK day. I thought it meant that I was supposed to get more milk today. Mom said it was something about some fellow that died who did some important political stuff. To me, it was just an extra day with Mom!

We had a fun morning playing. I watched Sesame Street and then we got clean and dressed.

I pondered the milk that was sure to come...

We went to Cracker Barrel and had lunch with Grandmother, Granddaddy, Uncle Hoppy, Granny Kat, and Bobby. After lunch, Granny Kat and Grandmother took Granddaddy to the doctor and we took Uncle Hoppy and Bobby to Target and to a book place. After that, we took them to the doctor place, but Granddaddy wasn't finished yet, so they came home with us. When Granddaddy was finished, they came to pick Uncle Hoppy and Bobby up from my house.

I took a very long nap this afternoon. When I woke up, I played in the floor.

I won the fight with the ball again.

I watched Sadie a lot. That dog is interesting. Sometimes she sneezes and it's funny. She let me pet her this morning. She is very soft. And she has this funny thing on her bottom that goes back and forth and back and forth. Sometimes it goes slow and sometimes it is faster. Mom says it's called a tail. I think it is funny and I laugh at it.

I like being in the floor because I can really see her! Plus, I can roll around all over the place!

I'm afraid tomorrow will be back to normal. There's no snow, just rain. Mom will have to go to big work and it will be a long day for her. Our unexpected vacation days (and the scheduled one today) have been wonderful. Mom says it will be a long time before we have days like this again, so we'll have to really enjoy our weekends together. I'm going to get to bed now. We have to get up early in the morning. I hope everyone drank their milk today!!
