STABBED!

It's Thursday! After a great night's sleep, Mom and I got up and got ready for our day. :)
Grandmom came and took me to Mrs. Leigh Ann's and Mom went to big work.

Mom came to get me a little bit early because I had to go see Dr. Shuler. Because I'm six months old now, I had to go get checked out. I weigh 12 pounds and 4 ounces now and I am 25 and 3/4 inches long (or tall if I'm standing up!). Dr. Shuler said I was "hitting all of my developmental targets", whatever that means. He checked me out with all of his little lights and spaceship thingys. He told Mom that I can start eating food from a spoon now. Mom said we would try that tomorrow night or over the weekend. She said she wants to have time to be with me in case I get a tummy ache. After Dr. Shuler checked me all over, he said that I'm a very healthy little girl! Yay!!

Then things spun out of control. Nurse Brandi came in with that tray. Oh no. Not the tray. I'd been such a sweet girl! Why did I have to get the tray?!? Mom put me on the table and held my hands and then it happened. STABBED! OOOOWWWWWW!!! I was trying to be on my best behavior, but it seriously hurt my leg AND my feelings!! I stopped crying just in time for them to do it again. AAAAAHHH! Not cool, people. Just when I thought it was safe...BOOM! Stabbed again!!! Mom picked me up after that and I cried a little to let her know that I was not especially pleased with these developments. Annas do not like shots. Those shots made me very tired. I slept for the rest of the afternoon.

Oh well. At least I got a sticker. :)
Sigh.
