(Just for the record, I was shopping all day Monday and had no time for blogging!)
Yesterday was a very exciting day! Mom and I got up and were very busy. She said she was getting ready for Christmas: The Sequel. Oh boy! I knew what that meant! Party time!!! Mom was busy cooking and cleaning, so I just played. Aunt Mere came over to help Mom, so I played with Colin and Brenna. When we were all finished with our work, we got ready and went to Grandmom and Granddad's house.
When we got there, Grandmom and Granddad were the only ones there. I was really tired, so I took a nap. When I woke up, Aunt Mere, Colin, Brenna, Grandmother, Granddaddy, Granny Kat, Bobby, Uncle Brent, Aunt Deborah, Pete, and Helena were there!!! Wow! I was so excited to see them!
I hugged Aunt Deborah.
And played with Uncle Brent.
Brenna and I were dressed alike. Grandmom got us matching shirts when she was in Tennessee. :)
The people with teeth had dinner. They had soups and sandwiches and chips and dips and desserts. I had a bottle. I played quietly in my seat while they ate. Then Pete came to talk to me.
After dinner, it was time for presents. Oh boy! I love presents!!
Uncle Brent, Aunt Deborah, Pete and Helena gave me a cool new alphabet zoo toy. I love it!
I had a great time playing with everyone and talking to them. After the party was over, Uncle Brent, Aunt Deborah, Pete and Helena came to my house to spend the night. Oh yay!! Slumber party!! Pete and Helena went to bed. Aunt Deborah gave me a bottle. Then I played and played with Uncle Brent. He is hilarious! I laughed and laughed and laughed!! I finally fell asleep sometime after midnight. (It was a very busy and exciting day. No time for blogging!)
This morning when I woke up, I got to play with Pete and Helena some more! Then I got to play with Uncle Brent and Aunt Deborah too! We all went to the College Shoppe together because Uncle Brent's shirt was too small. I love going there to look at all of the Gamecocks. :) After our little shopping trip, we went to Grandmom's. Aunt Mere, Colin and Brenna were there. The people with teeth had lunch (leftovers from the party).
Today is Brenna's birthday. She's three years old now! I felt sorry for her today because she is very sick. She had to go to the doctor on her birthday! :( The doctor says she has something called the "flu" and an "ear infection". I could tell she felt really bad because she didn't even try to play with me. Poor Brenna. I wish she had had a better birthday!!
After a little more visiting, Uncle Brent, Aunt Deborah, Pete and Helena had to leave to go back home. I was sad to see them go. I wish I got to see them more often!
I took a very long nap this afternoon. I think Mom may have taken a little nap too. We stayed at Grandmom's for a long time. Granddad came home and Mom ate dinner there. I got to play on my Christmas present from Aunt Nancy and Uncle Temp. It's a really neat play mat that has lots of things for me to play with on it.
Mom and I are home now and it's time for bed. It's been a great couple of days!!!
