After I checked out all of my presents from Santa, Mom and I went to Aunt Mere's house to see if Santa had stopped there too. It was really early, so we went in our pajamas.
Grandmom and Granddad were there. Aunt Mere and Uncle Corey were busy doing things in the kitchen. Colin and Brenna were stuck in their rooms, but I noticed that Santa had definitely been there. There was all kinds of new stuff sitting around in their living room! Brenna and Colin were eventually allowed to come out and see their presents. Colin went to his right away, but Brenna came to see me and Mom first.
They got lots of nice presents, too. Colin got some video game things and some books and clothes and some other stuff. Brenna got a really big kitchen with lots of food, a doll, some books, a game, a backpack and some other things too.
After they had looked at their stuff and had their pictures made, Aunt Mere made breakfast for the people with teeth. I had a bottle.
Mom had a glass with that red drink in it. I think they call it Cheerwine. I really really want some. I stole Mom's glass.
I tried to get the Cheerwine to come out.
I tried really hard.
I was not successful. Mom said I could have some when I'm one.
After breakfast, Mom and I went back to our house. Mom let me sit in my new chair to open my presents from Grandma and Grandpa. Finally! I've been looking at them for days!
In the first package, I found pibeys, hairbows, and an elephant!
I also found a card from Great Grandma. It had some dollars in it so I can go shopping!
This package had a little butterfly friend that sings and lights up.
The last package had two books in it. When I opened them up, I heard Grandma's voice reading to me!
It was sweet of Grandma and Grandpa and Great Grandma to send presents all the way to me from far away. I hope they had a fun day on the day called Christmas. :)
After I finished my packages, I took a nap while Mom packed up the car. After my nap, we headed to Grandmom and Granddad's for the big Christmas party!
Stay tuned for The Day Called Christmas, Part Three: Big Party!
