My First Christmas Party!

Guess what, everybody?!?

It's Friday!!! Woo hoo!!! We finally made it!!! This particular Friday brought wonderful things. We had a Christmas party at Mrs. Leigh Ann's AND it was Mom's last day at big work until after the new year starts!!

I had a great day at Mrs. Leigh Ann's. It was my very first Christmas party! All of us girls drew names for Christmas gifts. I had Salleigh. I got her a purse. :) Laine had my name. I was very excited to open my gift!

Oh, Laine knows me so well!!! She gave me a Gamecock sippy cup and a Gamecock pibey!! :) Thank you, Laine!

I also enjoyed the snack portion of the party. See? Look at this yummy cupcake!! Mom made them for me to take to the party.

The icing was really yummy. :) I managed to get a taste before my cupcake was taken away!

I had a great time at the party. It was wonderful to celebrate the holiday season with my friends!!

I made this craft for Mom. I used my hands and my foot to make a reindeer. Mom LOVED it. :)

I also got two new Christmas ornaments for my tree today! Mrs. Leigh Ann gave me the green one with my name on it. Mrs. Judy at Mom's big work had the Gamecock ornament made for me. :) I love them both!

When Mom and I got home, I had a package from Grandma and Grandpa. It was filled with Christmas presents for me! Mom wouldn't let me open any of them though. She says I have to wait until the day called Christmas. Sigh.

After Mom and I were home for a little while, I got to watch Frosty the Snowman. I knew that song. I've heard it on the radio a lot. But I've never heard the part about the magician trying to steal Frosty's hat. Or locking him in that hot place. Or making him melt. It was a little upsetting. Or at least it was until Santa came along and told everyone that Frosty would be back. Frosty did come back! It was a relief!

Tomorrow we start our vacation! I'm so excited about all the things that we will do!! :) The day called Christmas is only a week away!!
